"This really is a gorgeous cabin, in an incredible setting perched up in the trees. There are skylights above the bed where you can fall asleep with the trees and stars above you. You can sit on the deck or in the hot tub in amongst the forest. It really is idyllic for an escape and we loved our stay. The host was incredibly responsive, and helpful. "I don't like to give negative reviews but this was the worst experience in vacation rentals I have ever had. The house was filthy! The mattresses were moldy, the kitchen didn't have hardly any dishes (2 plates for a house the can sleep 20). The treehouse floor fell through on one of our children. Luckily he was not injured. Communication was ok until we told them all of the problems then it was crickets! Not a word from the owner to me or VRBO. This house is not fit for guests. But with alot...

"This home was a great home base for our hiking adventures in the area. It is close to several trailheads and Wallace Falls State Park. It is is a quiet area and the view was beautiful from the front porch. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking some of our meals instead of eating out all the time. Only used the hot tub once...but was in perfect working order. Would definately consider staying hear again if in the area."

"Overall the cabin was cute and the views of the river and mountain were great. The customer service person was well responsive even on a weekend day. I really enjoyed the hot tub while looking at the river even in the rain. I sorta wish there was a slight cover for the tub so I could have enjoyed it in the downpour. "We rented this house for my daughters wedding at Machias Meadows. My wife and I as well as the bridal party stayed here. There was lots of room for everyone. We did use an air mattress or 2 but nothing was cramped. A few things here and there like the cleaners coming a day early and letting themselves in while we were asleep, and not knowing there is a large house also being rented out right next door, made it a little awkward at times, but it was still fun nonetheless. Super close to Lake 22 for hikes, and Snohomish is so close to do dates downtown."
