"We booked this home as it is posted as being in very close proximity to the Great Sand Dunes. While the VRBO posting indicates the home is 4 minutes from the park, it is actually over an hour drive. We did have a fantastic time. The property was beautiful and clean with the exception of fruit and house flies in the main living area. I would recommend it as a great get away relatively close to the national park but be sure to plan accordingly."

"Great view of the San Luis Valley and San Juan Mountains. The main view from the dining room is spectacular! We played games at the table and would stop to discuss the view and watch the sunset. Very inspiring and created a peaceful fun vibe while we played games. Very private and peaceful location. Walkable neighborhood with great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We drove to the Colorado Gator Farm and were not Disappointed. Rescue reptiles in Colorado so cool! We would defiantly stay...

"Just loved the stay here. Almost don’t want to say to much because I would like to be able to always schedule here again. The place is beautifully appointed and run by Lavonne and she is awesome. Everything was top notch for a cabin in the woods. We got 3-4 feet of snow while I was there and Lavonne took great care of everything. "

"The cabin behind us their bed backs up to the wall of our bedroom. All “things” done in that room is heard loudly in the other room. Normally not a problem. But this stay it was almost all night and multiple times. Hard to sleep through all that banging and loudly screaming for God. "

"We have loved coming to Westcliffe to get away from Texas summers. This is the first time we stayed at Golden Heart Acres - it was the perfect space to relax, reflect, and reconnect. "

"The cabin was comfortable and well- appointed. We enjoyed just hanging out at the cabin after some beautiful hiking trips nearby. You truly have a beautiful place. Paul was very helpful with tips and good restaurant recommendations. Star Wrangler is a wonderful place to get away and relax in style."

"We stayed two nights on a trip to the Sand dunes… It was centrally located in Crestone, convenient to the market and coffee shop. Would stay here again. Not fancy, perfect for a Nice peaceful getaway. Beautiful views, you can’t beat Crestone. Be mindful there are stairs and grass to walk-through upon arrival. We very much enjoyed our time there. "Great location to stay. Phillip greeted us upon arrival, very nice and friendly guy. We enjoyed our stay at their location. One thing we were very displeased with was the uncleanliness in the house. Dog hair all over the place, on the carpets, the beds, on the countertops & table. Pet friendly places must be cleaned much better at all times."

"We stayed 2 nights to go to The Great Sand Dunes and hike around the area. It’s about an hour drive to the main entrance of Great Sand Dunes. The home was very clean! We were very pleased with the inside, the kitchen was big and shad everything we needed and it had a nice grill as well! The only negative thing we have to say is that the mosquitos in the area are very bad this time of year! They swarmed us right when we got out of the car but the locals said they were even worse the week before...

"Stay at house for Thanksgiving with adult children. Loved the stream out front. Used the fireplace everyday. Definitely will go back here."
