They both came back saying it was incredibly relaxing and cozy, they enjoyed the proximity to North Shore sights like Split Rock lighthouse, the Onion River, and other hiking trails, and the sauna was wonderful. I know they would love to come back.They also really enjoyed their interactions with Shawn & Edward and were thankful for their warm welcome. I also want to thank Shawn & Edward for helping...

"Our family of 5 spent 4 nights at Stoney Shores. We enjoyed the open concept kitchen, dining and living room, where we spent all of our time together either making food, watching movies, cuddling by the fire or working on hobbies on the large butcher block counter. We ventured down to the water and outside at night to watch for shooting stars. All communications were quickly replied to and always helpful. The location was nice to be near many state parks as well. We hope to be back some day!"

"This was a great location for exploring the shore. There was easy access to both Duluth and the North Shore parks. It provided plenty of space for the 6 of us. We were able to gather together for family time and spread out when we wanted to get our homework done (2 college students and a teacher in the group). Be aware that it is on a well, so depending on what you are use to, you might want to bring bottled drinking water. "

"It was difficult finding the house number in the dark (4 pm), kleenix tissues would have nice, however; very comfortable, clean, warm & cozy!! Kudos! We don’t give compliments if not meeting our expectations."

"We found the property just as described by our host, and had no issue accessing the amenities within. The lake view from the living room was stunning, the perfect backdrop for a relaxing weekend with friends."
