"We had an amazing stay for our anniversary! Beautiful cabin, fully stocked, lots of amenities and the hosts even left a bottle of wine in the fridge. Our yellow lab loved swimming in the pond and we hopped in too. This place is immaculate and so peaceful. We’ll be back!"

"We booked this house because of its proximity to friends who live on the island and the views, as shown in the listing. The house is well stocked and the views are gorgeous. Many reviews comment on how old the house it is, but I found it in great shape/ functional and clean. It also has a special beach charm. My only concern is that the “kid’s room” has its own entrance/ exit. We used outdoor chairs to “barricade” the door at night to ensure safety while sleeping. An exterior lock would be nice...

"Tucked away from everything. Quiet and peaceful. Good view of the water. The neighbors helped us find the path down to the beach that was at the end of the street. The communication was great! It was about an hour away from Deception Pass state park. Be aware there is no AC, we were able to cool off with having windows open in the evenings and early mornings."

"Beautiful views of the area and Mt. Baker! This house is in a nice neighborhood with lots of space between them, so the yard is private, and the deck is huge! Kitchen was updated and accommodated cooking meals for our family reunion. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. A/C was a plus on the warm weekend we spent there. The shower door needs some repair but overall everything worked great. Would stay again! "

"Beautiful and quiet setting within a short drive from the Hope Island Beach Club wedding venue was perfect for us. The house worked great for 3 adults with plenty of space for all of us. The quaint town of LaConner is a gem with wonderful restaurants and lovely sunset walks along the water."

"What a great place to stay. The house is so comfortable and the deck is fabulous. Views of Puget Sound & the Olympic Mountains along with great sunsets. Bruce & Diane are very accommodating hosts. We took their recommendations in dining out but you can’t beat the waterfront dining prepared in the well stocked kitchen. So much fun to see eagles from the house along with all the different ships going by, even a submarine! It was a wonderful stay."

"Tyee Blue Heron cottage is beautifully done inside and sits with a beautiful beach and view. We had to wait thru a day of rain and then the sun came out and it warmed up. We saw Orca whales swim up the straight and you wonderful representative on the island was in contact and let us know she would text us if she heard they were back. This is our second time here and we have loved it both times. We will be back!"

"This is the second stay we've had at this home, and both provided memories. While our summer weather didn't hold up, the grey skies didn't ruin the kids' paddle boarding. We had about an hour of frustration trying to access entry. The property manager was finally able to help us out. Otherwise it was a great stay!"

The furniture, carpet, fixtures etc. aren't brand sparkling new or high-end or anything, but it was still just great for our needs. "One of the nicest properties we’ve rented. The cabin was perfect for two people. The views of the river and mountains were amazing. Located in a very quiet, secluded spot. Our host, Charlie, lives on the property and was there to answer any questions. We highly recommend this cabin."
