"This place is amazing. It is very family-friendly, with lots for kids to do and explore. We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and comfortable for us. There are many activities available and all were fun. Some of the things we enjoyed were a difficult hike, a night walk, beer and chocolate tastings, wine and cheese tastings, and candle making. The food is fantastic. The fireplaces are lit in the evening and our family loved sitting in front of the fire. "

Not only is this guest house run for a great cause (education of indigenous people in Guamote and surroundings) it is done without sacrificing any comfort, style or creativity for guests. Staff (both local and expat) were great. The breakfast and dinner were a cut above Ecuadorian standards. The room was comfortable and spacious with a king bed and good shower. Much more than you would expect in this very local village"
