"My family of four with two teenagers stayed for a full week. The house is perfect for a long stay. The master and second bedroom beds were comfortable and large enough for two adults, the sofa bed in the office worked well for my teenager. Having 2 1/2 baths made mornings much easier and the convenience of a full kitchen can not be overstated. We fell in love with Barnes and hated to leave. "Hamish and Susie were great hosts. Hamish met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house. We enjoyed the goodies in the welcome basket. The shortbread’s were delicious ( I believe they were homemade). We enjoyed our 3 night stay, the cottage was what we had hoped it would be. The gardens and grounds were so lovely and peaceful.
