"The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. We loved the decor and the privacy. The river is short walk from the front door. We would stay again for sure. "

"Went to view totality of eclipse in Warren, PA. Awesome! Cabin great value and only had to drive an hour from there to eclipse target viewing spot. Host very helpful and worked with us on one problem to satisfaction. Very glad we went!"

"Property was very clean & well stocked. You can tell the owner went out of their way to make visitors feel comfortable & welcome! Cherry was extremely responsive to any message or request we had. "We have nothing negative to say about the actual space. The interior was very nicely finished and the view from the little deck was lovely. However, we have stayed in many VRBO rentals, and every other one had a book of instructions on how things worked and what the host would like you to know. This one had nothing. "Beautiful property with everything you need and more. Just as advertised. We rented this to go 4-wheeling at the Allegheny National Forest. Was a bit of a haul to get to trail heads but that’s what we did. The only small inconvenience was not having mirrors in bedrooms. When 4 people need to get ready to out to dinner."

"This house has some good features: large kitchen, numerous gathering areas, loads of sleeping space, comfortable beds, proximity to river. There are lovely needlepoint chair cushions in the dining room. However,, the house needs some care. The pictures are somewhat misleading;for instance, the house sits right on the road and the gradual slope to the river is on the other side of the road."
