"Our kids got us kayaks for our 60th birthdays. Now that my husband has caught up (hooray)we wanted a close /good location to take the kayaks out for the first time, walk to dinners in town and then enjoy mountain nights on a pourch. This cabin was just the place. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We would stay again."

"We stayed with my sister and her family, 4 kids and 4 adults, and it was the perfect size for us! There were lots of cozy blankets available to use which was so nice! House was clean and the owner responded quickly to any questions we had. We were able to park in the garage which we found very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees....

The light was not turning on in the shared entry so we were hesitant to walk up the stairs, however, once we stepped into our suite we felt safe and comfortable. "This is a charming property, and the owners were extremely communicative and helpful! It is relatively close to Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks at a great price point. The living room, dining room and bedroom are very comfortable. It is a 100 year old cabin, and the clawfoot tub and kitchen show their age. That being said, I found this to be a very comfortable stay, and the owners have thought of everything to provide a rich experience for guests who stay here ... from basic kitchen...
