All same day bookings must be made through the local office between the hours of 8:30 am-5:00 pm PST. For same day bookings, please call.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

My birthday weekend 10/12
Casa del Lago is a great get away! This was a very cute and comfortable place with everything we needed. It was stock with all kitchen, bathroom and bed amenities. Also the option for a 2pm late check at $17.25 was a nice added benefit. We will for sure stay here again!

Getaway perfection!
As our first time using a short term rental, we could not have asked for a better host! The cabin was beautiful, was in a great location and a wonderful place to unwind and unplug! It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely keep this location in mind whenever we need a quick escape!

great little cabin
we had great time during our stay as we visited China peak multiple days to Ski, we enjoyed the quietness of the property/ the amenities and great location. The property was very clean and easy to access which made for a great trip.

Awesome
Went with my two young kids for a snow weekend. Amazing spot, 1-2 feet of snow in 2 nights. Clean, warm, hot tub was hot. Definitely recommend.

Great on paper, but truly dirty and dishwasher had a huge leak
Within an hour of getting to the cabin, we realized how dirty it actually was. Dust on most of the fixtures. Faux fireplace doesn’t do much to warm up the place and it’s the only heat source. As soon as we started the dishwasher, we realized it had a massive leak. Sopped up with towels, but the baseboard nearby appears to have water damage….as in it’s an ongoing issue. Wall heater has a note stating out of order…and there was mold all over the shower liner. :( We came up here for the wilderness aspect, so it served its purpose for sleep and location, but these things absolutely need to be addressed. Listing was a bit misleading.

Cute little condo in the trees
Condo was perfect for my husband and I. It is small but everything you need is there. The bed was ok, again small but for the space I don’t think a bigger bed would fit. The price was very good and we definitely would stay again when it’s just us. I gave it 4 stars only because I had some questions regarding what supplies were at the home in the days before we left and property management never responded. Communication could be better Vacasa!

Perfect cozy place for our small family
This was an absolutely wonderful vacation rental for our family of 2 adults & 2 children. It is in great proximity to downtown Shaver Lake and a short drive to the SNO-parks and China Peak for some great play time in the snow. The condo complex is quiet, wonderfully wooded, well lit outdoor areas and felt very safe. The ambiance of the home was just perfect with great décor and wood work to set the lake-cabin vibe! I particularly enjoyed the great lighting of the lantern and lighted branch on the mantle. The place was very clean with plenty of space to store coats, etc. Having a full kitchen is quite helpful when travelling with kiddos to avoid constant eating out & it was well equipped with all we needed. The bedding could use an upgrade to higher quality sheets and pillows, particularly the extra set for the pull-out couch. This would be a small fix that would truly make an impactful difference on the experience at this cozy spot. We loved this place and I'd absolutely look to it again when we visit Shaver Lake next time!

Perfect Lake Escape.
10/10. Everything thing you want/need in a place to escape with it's instaworthy decor, gas fireplace, fully equpit kitchen, outdoor grill and patio and convient location to the lake! Can't wait to come back.

disappointing
although the area was beautiful the condo itself was a disappointment. the carpet was filthy and stained. the stove top barely worked the knobs on the burners broken. the shower walls were full of mold and mildew. the lanyard and key did not open the pool gate we were unable to get assistance from management. so our grandchildren were unable to swim.. big disappointment for them. we would not stay at that condo again.

Needs some attention
Really wanted to love this place but there were so many little things wrong that they really added up and made it a bad experience. Clearly this unit needs some attention from staff, rather than relying on guests to report issues as they observe them. Main issues: Bed is small and does not sleep 2 adults comfortably- photo makes it look like a queen or king, but it's actually a full size pull out style bed, very uncomfortable and very noisy with any little toss or turn. We ended up sleeping on the pull out couch the second night because it was slightly larger and didn't make noise. Stove - we were greeted by a yellow notepad that said to use pliers to turn the burners on/off because the knobs were broken. Really? Instead of fixing the nobs before we arrived, you're asking us to use a tool every time we want to turn the stove on/off or adjust the temp? TV - although the TV comes with Firestick and Apple TV, nothing was plugged in, remotes were missing all togehter or missing batteries if they were there. You have a long list of all these apps you supposedly can watch (Netflix, Hulu. etc...) but they equipment is incomplete. Again, it shouldn't be the guests job to report this, the staff should have checked on this before we checked in. Grill - of course mid-cooking raw hamburgers the grill ran out of gas, and because it was after hours there was no way to get help. We had to move all our semi-raw food into the kitchen to complete cooking. I would not recommend staying at this unit unless they pay some serious attention to these easily fixable issues, instead of relying on guests to make due

Good location but needs some improvements
The location is fantastic, and the condo was perfect for 2 of us and our dog. I especially appreciate VRBOs that allow pets and the property is super quiet and clean and relaxing. We were disappointed only in that the pellet stove was broken. Our first night no one could come to fix it. Our second night we didn’t make it back in time (before 6pm) because we were out fishing and hiking and exploring. Items should be checked before renting. People pay a lot of money to stay at VRBOs and what is photographed and advertised on the VRBO site should be functioning and in working condition. The bed was also not comfortable nor were the pillows. That’s an easy fix for a VRBO location and for simple satisfaction. We also recommend having some maps and a binder available that list local trails and restaurants and recommendations. The competition is high now on VRBO and other renters are doing great things!
