"Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia."

"I specialize in the identification and removal of mold and other hazardous materials in hospitals and sensitive areas. There was visible mold, active leaks, and the smell of mildew throughout. The pictures were very misleading. The real problem here is we were visiting the area for an industry event (healthcare construction) and I brought a representative from a local healthcare facility who just so happened to be immunocompromised and battling cancer. Thats not a good look. I won't stay here...

"Nice, clean, cute little house with a fantastic hot tub. My only quibble is it was listed as two bedrooms but in fact there are no bedrooms - rather a loft open to the floor below and then two beds tucked into corners of the downstairs living area... It was fine for us but surprising!"

"Needed a vacation in the mountains to get away from the heat and to have a good time before our oldest goes off to college next month. Cabin is in a secluded area with only a couple cabins near it, nice and quiet, but close to fishing, tubing, restraurants and shopping for the girls. "The a frame is great! It was big enough for me and my husband pretty comfortably, the views are great, it is on top of the mountain and so quiet at night! Bed is comfortable, they provided everything we needed. It is off the beaten path for sure and I would highly suggest all wheel drive, do not try this in your honda civic. The owner forgot to send check in instructions, but there was just a major hurricane a few weeks ago and that has to be stressful, so it was no biggie. He answered...

"The place is very clean and comfortable. The porch is wonderful to sit and relax or play checkers. We stayed during Hurricane Helene and Tammy was always checking to see if we were okay. Even asked for us to let her know we made it back home safe. Tammy and Bob are a wonderful couple. We would definitely book again. "

"What a neat little cabin. The host was extremely timely in answering all the questions. This is nestled on a dirt road; it does have cabins close by. The place was super clean! all the amenities you need for cooking, the washer was inoperable, but who wants to do laundry:) There was no dishcloth or scrubber for dishes, but we made do.
