"Hello, We stay Friday - Monday over Labor Day weekend. I wanted to see Cape Lookout. We took the ferry over on Saturday, which was just a short quick ride to the ferry dock from the house. We did purchase our tickets before going and the Ferries were sold out that afternoon. The restaurant across the street was wonderful. We had 2 dinners over there. "The listing and map gave the impression that this was a beachfront property, when in fact we had to cross a major highway and walk through another group of properties to get to the beach. The bunk beds, as well as the double bed closest to the entry had fleas. Either the box spring or mattress or both of the double closest to the entry need to be replaced. "This was our first time visiting Atlantic Beach, NC, and we didn't know what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that all our needs were met. The condo matched the online description perfectly, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. We communicated with the owner without any issues, and they were extremely helpful. "Small affordable places like Bogue Shores keep me going to Atlantic Beach every year. Snooty club members that call it an eyesore can go play in traffic. It is a great location on the sound, across from a beach access point, and near the shopping center, movie theater, skatepark, etc. The room is not fancy, but I don’t need it to be. I’m not at the beach to sit in my room all day. My stay was great as always!"

"We all loved the place. Was clean and comfy. Easy access to the beach and pool. Very friendly staff. If enjoy fishing can go right out back to the dock and fish in the sound. Loved it. Only thing we noticed was the lamp on the end table didn't work. Looks like the switch is broken and needs fixing or replaced The place is decorated beautiful!! Will stay there again!"
