PLEASE READ THIS INFO CAREFULLY

This glamping located on the 10ac private lot in the heart of the mountains.
We do have a creek on the land, so you’ll hear calm water sound.
We do have 2 wooden cabins on the property and one more geodome.

YOU WILL HAVE:
Outdoor private shower and portable toilet.


AC + heater ( Please make sure that during the winter time its pretty cold during the night time, prepare yourself and bring additional warm close)

The glamping is equipped with a comfortable bedroom with queen-sized mattress.

We do provide books and card games, also we do provide YOGA mat

Small kitchenette with gas portable stove and pod for making coffee.

Enjoy a mountain getaway on the Great Smoky National Park with awesome sunrises and sunsets, and star-filled nights.

You will have plenty of private space. Property located in the mountains, we do not have visible neighbors.
On our 10 acres land we have 2 wooden cabins and 2 Geodomes in total.

Our stay
Everything was very well put together. We never got cold inside the dome, the heater works very well. I even got got a few times. However, it’s not very secluded like I thought. There’s construction work going on and you can hear every little thing. Other than that our stay was very good.

Not quite like the listing & not for colder months.
The weather the night we went ended up being one of the first nights in October that it was 40 degrees. Before going to the dome I made sure that a heater would be provided. Once we arrived we went to turn the heater on & it appeared broke. We contacted the host who was nice and brought us a second one and assessed the other. By the time she arrived it had been 45 minutes and the first heater still hadn’t improved. We were educated that the heater was working properly, to witch I voiced my concern of it warming the dome properly. We are advised to use two heater, to which we did & the breaker box kept tripping. We went back to one BUT unfortunately the breaker box kept tripping if we used the heater and a light. By 2am the dome was still 40 degrees & we were tired of going in and out to flip the switch. We left a whole day early from our mini honeymoon. The driveway is NOT for car of any kind, highly recommend parking on the top of the hill. The geodome is NOT isolated, you can see your neighbors and hear them. There is no door covering, looks like it was missing.. We wouldn’t have cared about the covering if the neighbors weren’t within walking distance. Our door was facing the woods but still - you never know. The only reason is got a 2 star was that the dome itself is gorgeous, the hosts were very nice to try to help with the heater issue. This probably would have been a 5 star experience in the warmer months, we hope to try again one day.

Okay place to stay
This was an okay place to stay, I believe it was a little more rustic than we were initially expecting. The dome itself was very clean, felt slightly damp even compared to a normal tent. The composting toilet however did seem to be at just about maximum capacity and was by far the worst smelling composting toilet I’ve used. My wife ended up slipping on the deck after the rain out first night and hurting herself so we cut our trip short. Overall it was clean and the host was very responsive and helpful. Not a terrible place to stay. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ALL WHEEL DRIVE SUV OR TRUCK as the drive way is EXTREMELY steep and we bottomed out our all wheel drive fusion.

Our Getaway at the Secret DOME (Geo#001)
This was a 3rd year marriage anniversary for my wife and I. Staying at this site was the top shelf Glamping experience I wanted to share with my love! Enough modern comforts to keep my 'City Kitty' Happy and comfortable; and off the grid enough for me to feel reconnected with nature. The Secret Geo Dome was equipped with electricity and AC, a separate and private outdoor shower and portable, composting toilet. The large decks that the Geo and bathroom are built on made it convenient to keep the inside clean and just made it all feel connected. I stayed barefoot the entire time we spent at the Geo :) ! Originally, I planned to prepare our meals on the fire, but the gas grill was SO Convenient for cooking our meals. Our second night, there was a storm: we did loss power and water for a bit but we were prepared and enjoyed watching and listening as the storm passed by us. The power and water came back on quicker than we thought and it all just added to the authenticity of our experience. The Geo was set up so thoughtful and cozy that we simply called it our Home. They have three other sites for rent, but the distance and privacy maintained between made us feel like we were alone. No phone service but the host does provide Call/text WiFi which made it easy for us to stay in touch with our FurBabies and even get our GPS ready before heading out on adventures. We did reach out to the host, she was very responsive and helpful. We will be back!! We are in love with Secret DOME#001!

While we had a neighbor during our stay you would not have know because the dome was positioned so that you felt alone. Very relaxing
