Cabin Description:

Whether you are looking for a romantic cabin for two or a cozy cabin for a family getaway with all of the luxury amenities to make everyone happy, “Mountain Escape” is the just what the name implies. It is the perfect place for individuals, couples, or families wanting to escape from the fast pace life.

Remodeled in January 2022, Mountain Escape is quiet peaceful and private log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful half acre forest and has a beautiful view of the mountain and the forest. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley, close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is also just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and only 10 minutes drive to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park.

With a cathedral ceiling and high end upscale decor, the luxury you will find in “Mountain Escape” is evident from the minute you step inside.
The main level boasts a new stainless steel fully equipped kitchen, a new cozy living area with large new smart TV screen, dining table that seats four persons, a queen Murphy bed, and a gas log fireplace, newly remodeled full bath, and large deck that enjoys beautiful views of the mountains, and a spiral staircase that leads to the lower master bedroom.

The lower level consist of over sized master suite with its own bath, a pool table, LCD TV, and an deck with a hut tub.

It is easily accessible by car with well maintained wide roads and ample off road paved parking. This is an upscale cabin with nice views in a very private wooded setting. It is perfect for a honeymoon or a second honeymoon as well as a vacation home for a small family.

For those who need to stay connected, wireless high speed cable internet is provided.

“Mountain Escape” is close to all the area has to offer, but far enough away to give you peace, quiet and serenity. Come hibernate in Mountain Escape!

Honeymoon Getaway
We’re from Pennsylvania and this was our first trip to the Smoky mountains. We decided to elope down here and chose to stay in this beautiful cabin for our wedding/honeymoon week. The view is gorgeous, and we will definitely be going back for an anniversary in the future. The house was clean and the hot tub was nice and relaxing. Haas the owner/host was so helpful and friendly with any questions or concerns we had. 10/10 from us

Wonderful Celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary
Your home is just terrific. Very clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed everything about our stay - the layout, the terrific view, the grill, the hot tub and the fire pit. One morning we had a nice visit from a full grown black bear who walked around the fire pit and up the hill beside the house. No confrontation issues at all. He eventually walked off into the woods. Lovely stay and hope to come back in the next couple of years.

Beautiful with minor issues
The downstairs porch light did not work so it was extremely dark at night in the hot tub area. There was a broken glass in the back of the cabinet and all cups/cookware had a white residue which had to be rinsed and wiped off before use. We ended up just using the coffee cups and bought solo cups after the first night. The rocking chairs on the deck are a bit uncomfortable as they sit straight up and the material of the couch can have you sliding around when trying to relax. The dishwasher was full when we arrived and an outdoor utility closet was wide open with a wet towel laying on the ground in front of it. The downstairs bathroom has a bit of a smell. We didn’t use the one upstairs so not sure about that one. Overall it was a fantastic stay in a wonderful location and all these things were no big deal; we would absolutely recommend and would love to visit again.

Beautiful Cabin
The cabin is beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised with the location. It has a Sevierville address but it’s actually closer to Townsend. The spiral staircase is cute and all but not very user-friendly for an elderly man like myself that is a little oversized. There was A very bad odor to the water. So much so that we used bottled water to brush our teeth and refused to shower while we were there. But over all we enjoyed our stay. I would also suggest that they should spray the porch and decks with spider spray before your next guests arrive.

Anniversary Trip
Great cabin, beautiful view, great location, and loved the location. Haven’t stayed in Wears Valley in several years, but we will definitely stay here again. It’s quiet and not a lot of noisy traffic. Inside is beautifully decorated and clean. We hoped to see bears at the cabin, but we did not (maybe next time!). Will stay again!

When we first pulled in the drive way we noticed a bag of trash spread out down the hill we assumed it was a critter As we approached the steps to the front door the two post were filled with yellow jackets I also kept smelling sewer when I brushed my teeth and while we were in the hot tub. The rugs getting in the shower needs to be washed or replaced with new ones. And when I dropped something under the bed down stairs I saw it hadn’t been swept or mopped in weeks. The hot tub lid had mold on it and it was filled up too much that it touched the mold. I’m sorry I’m so honest with all this but a little more detailing would have been wonderful. It’s such a beautiful cabin. Details were awesome. I was asking my new husband to build me one just like it I’m a house keeper and care taker so I noticed a lot we did love this place and do want to come back. Oh I really don’t think the hot tub water was changed out

Quiet, private, gorgeous cabin in Wears Valley.. Close to everything but far enough away for a relaxing peaceful vacation. View all the pics on this property on VRBO site. It is on a steep grade but fully accessible. Loved it! Hope to return.

Loved this cabin tucked on a hillside. Upper deck was a great place to watch the bears that wandered through in the afternoon. Circular stairs were a bit of a challenge, but overall, a great stay.

Great time in the GSM as usually. Property was in great shape, great views, very accommodating by the owners. Momma bear with five cubs. We all kept our distance, but she comes very close, right up on the deck, isn’t deterred by much. If you’re staying here this spring, summer just be smart, should be no issues. They are very active in the mornings and evenings. Frankly, it was an amazing experience viewing them so closely. Great get away, needed that!

This was perfect and the view is the best I have seen at any stay I've had before in the area. I also loved how private this location felt. Was only about 20 minutes to anything we did over the weekend. Was clean and very nice. Would definitely make this my go to home for future stays!

Perfect location for anyone who wants to experience the Smokey Mountain area but without the tourist traps. Very close access to the “hidden entrance” to the park. Place was immaculate and spacious. Back porch view was unbeatable.

Amazing spring break
Nothing short of amazing for our week we spent there. Waking up every morning to the mountain view while watching the sun rise was awesome. Only minutes out of the national park gave us awesome access to a day of hiking and site seeing. We had a great time and would love to come back!

My wife and I stayed for spring break. The cabin was exactly as listed and we were not disappointed at all. The Mountain View from the back deck was fantastic. This cabin is also centrally located for all of the things we like to see and do. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful accommodation and location!
Cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy and had all of the amenities for a great vacation. Loved the location as it was private and peaceful but also centrally located for areas that we frequented while in the Smokies. Definitely will stay here again.
