The apartment is on the first floor (with lift) of an attractive residence and has a bright living room with two sofas and an armchair. The living room has exceptional panoramic views over the valley. There is a dining room with a table for 4 and a wooden balcony, with deckchairs, which looks out over the forest to the mountains beyond. The separate kitchenette is equipped with an induction hob, microwave and fridge.

Location
The apartment is on the edge of the resort of Sestriere in a quiet, sunny position. It is close to the ski slopes and lifts making it an ideal winter base.

Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has much to offer all year round. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.

Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also holds many festivals and events for all ages throughout the year, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings.

There are many great restaurants and bars which will suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.

Turin airport is a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the apartment.
