Cozy waterfront getaway
Bill and Bev, thanks very much for welcoming us! Quiet, serene and a great getaway even with the rain! Loved all the hiking nearby and close to town to bumble around. Next time will be sunny for sure and we can take advantage of the fire pit with a view!

Lovely little getaway
My boyfriend and I stayed here with our dog for three nights and had a very lovely and relaxing time. The hosts were so friendly and inviting, we felt right at home. The suite was absolutely gorgeous and it was fully equipped with everything you would need while away from home. All the little details were so thoughtful, from the toothbrush’s, bath salts, the delicious homemade scones, jam, granola, the dog towel, water bowl and candle lit lanterns for cozy nights…we were so impressed! We were even able to get a little sun tanning in while lounging on the large deck in the afternoon. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place!

Sechelt Stay with a Beautiful Ocean View
Really were treated very well from start to finish. We stayed 3 nights and were very impressed with the entire place we stayed at inside and out. It has all the modern amenities you need for a great stay. The host Bev was very gracious and gave us a jar of homemade jam and scones that were wonderful. Would highly recommend this place to a couple that likes privacy and a view.

Wonderful property and fantastic hosts!
My girlfriend and I stayed at the property with our dog, and had a great experience. The hosts were marvelous, so friendly and accommodating and gave us some great recommendations. The property itself was a delight, very clean and relaxing, with an absolutely world-class waterfront deck area/access. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, our only regret is we didn't stay longer!

Relaxing Weekend at Babajamas!
Had a lovely, relaxing stay at Babajamas! I would say that you'd definitely need a car to stay here, as it's far from any amenities. Though if you planned not to leave during your stay (which you definitely could do), then no problem. Check in was easy and Bill greeted us in the driveway and provided a quick tour of the grounds. We settled in and felt right at home. The unit was impeccably clean and had so many nice thoughtful touches (ie. cozy blankets, epsom salts for the bath, scones, popcorn!). It was super private - we had our unit and access to all the decks to ourselves the whole weekend. We appreciated that the deck right outside our unit was covered as we got some rain over the weekend, so we were still able to hang out outside and read. Speaking of outside, the decks and the views were so amazing. We loved watching the float planes come and go and looking out for sea creatures. It felt like our own private little resort! I would say if you're BYO-kayaks/SUPs etc, to paddle them to Babajamas from the public (?) water access down the road as from the suite down to the water is a lot of steep narrow steps! We utilized the BBQ (easy to use) and the kitchen was very well-equipped (including ground coffee but also had a french press, seasonings, all kitchenware you'd really need). We self-catered for the majority of our trip. Overall had an amazing time at Babajamas and would highly recommend!

Home Away From Home
If/when we come back to Sechelt, we will come back to Babajamas!! It was just so cozy and comfortable. The home-made scones with jam, the unforgettable view by the water, and the local events we got to enjoy made this a perfect weekend for us as we celebrated our anniversary. Thank you!!

Special memories from a special place..
We stayed only 5 nights but it felt much longer due to the moments of a lifetime that we shared at BABAJAMAS. The home comforts of the suite (and those scones!) the stunning views on multi levels, the ocean breezes and the light through the many beautiful trees.. the wildlife, and the amazing hosts Bill and Bev.make this a trip you will never forget! It’s an adorable suite but the true prize is the view from all the decks! Also, Bev and Bill were wonderful hosts! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway in nature!

We had an amazing stay at Babajamas guest suit. They have a beautiful home overlooking the water. We saw whales, dolphins, eagles and blue herons while enjoying drinks on the deck and making use of the fire pit. The water was wonderfully refreshing after of days hiking on all the great trails in the area. The special treats and extra touches made our stay so much more enjoyable. Thanks so much Bev and Bill!

Fabulous trip!
My partner and I stayed for the Canada Day long weekend, which is also our anniversary. The space is comfortable with many extra touches like the homemade scones and granola, and a note with details about local events. The deck, view and fire pit were fantastic. Bev even shared some delicious strawberry shortcake from her family’s Canada Day celebration. Thanks for a great stay!

Stunning house and property, and the loveliest hosts
Myself, my partner and our dog stayed here for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Bev was our main point of contact regarding the stay - she was so friendly and hospitable! Our stay was peaceful and exactly the escape from the city we were hoping for. From the delicious homemade scones, jam and granola on the counter when we walked in, to the many decks with stunning views of the ocean, the fire pit, the morning coffees and evening drinks by the water. So much sea life! No whales this time though, so we’ll have to come back :)

it was so beautiful that i will come back again
i was able to spend six nights and days at this especially beautiful place in may 2024. i felt very comfortable here, i was able to sleep well, i could work, read, enjoy the sechelt inlet and cook. the apartment offers everything you need to relax for several days and to experience and enjoy the magnificent nature around sechelt. it is also exceptional that as a guest you are allowed to use and enjoy the outdoor area with the terraces down to the sea. the hosts are very friendly, welcoming, helpful and know lots of tips for hikes, experiences, restaurants, stores and special places. thank you very much for making your particularly beautiful apartment available to us strangers so that we can also experience and enjoy this beautiful place.
