"We were given an upgrade gratis to the upstairs, large, 2-bed, apartment. Totally equipped with lovely furniture, some antique, some very modern, high-end appliances, cookery and local pottery dish-ware. Modern/eclectic vibe within an old building. Thoughtful details everywhere from desk to gorgeous bath. Clean. Comfy beds. Lush towels. A little noisy due to being right on the street but the large back deck and sofa set are fabulous."

"We enjoyed our stay at this Deer Isle apartment. Watching the sunrise over the water and the deer crossing the lawns started our days off right. The hosts were very quick to respond with one little issue and the space was very comfortable. Only negative was that there was no hairdryer but we would definitely stay there again. "This place was beautiful! Very cute, cozy, and modern inside. You can tell there’s a lot of work and love that went into making this a great place to stay. Great location along our drive up/down the coast of Maine! Lisa was quick to respond to questions about our stay. We loved every minute we spent here and would definitely stay there again!"

"We visited the Acadia / Bar Harbor area. Orland was approximately 40 minutes from that area. The apartment was very clean & comfortable, we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. It’s located on a small lake, and is surrounded by lots of trees. "

"John and Barbara are the best hosts. I use their property every fall for when I am closing my camp. They are the best hosts ever. They give you the best greeting when you arrive and are willing to help if needed. The cabin is so sweet. I absolutely love how cozy it is. The little kitchen is perfect for cooking at the cabin. And there is enough little counter space to do a small puzzle! I am so grateful they take care of me in my camp closing."

"Walkable to downtown was great! The main rental is only some of the pictures online and they are dated. There are two bedrooms on top level which requires u to walk down steps to get to a bathroom which is also shared by another bedroom on main level. Main area and kitchen space could have been cleaner. Beds were very comfortable. We had 5 women on a girls trip. "
