"We enjoyed our stay very much. Very relaxing. Having the beach to walk on was so peaceful. Fishing and crabbing off the dock was so great and convenient! Loved the house, retained its original old beach house charm which we love! Would definitely return. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us. "

The deck was almost complete by the end of our stay but we understood the delay due to multiple days of high winds and extreme heat. We still fished off the pier and caught a variety of fish such as puffer, black drum, crocker, stingray, crabs and hog fish. Check in and check out was very simple and the host was very pleasant and helpful...

"Neighbors were nice. Quiet neighborhood. Super short bike ride to the center of town. Saw and met many friendly people. Holloween was so much fun! The day of the dead event in town was a riot. The fishing was awesome. I’m booking again next year if not again in two weeks!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cottage. The only drawback was the door was locked when we arrived (instructions said door would be open), but we were able to get the spare key out of the lockbox."

"This home is just charming. Clean and well appointed. It has everything you could imagine needing. The hosts are very gracious and communicate wonderfully. Very close to historic Beaufort. A real gem. "

"We've stayed at this property before, and it's been great both times. The only challenge this time is we had great difficulty with the code to enter the property and also to lock it. After the fourth or fifth try, the door would magically unlock, but then we couldn't get it to lock when we were leaving! We finally were able to speak with someone at Vacasa and they reset the code from their end. Thankfully we had no further problems."

Turner St is a busy road and the traffic noise early in the morning and in the evening made conversation on the porch less pleasant. The mattress on the queen bed in the front bedroom was very soft. Other than those 2 things we enjoyed our stay very much and will plan to return. "
