***** The Pineapple Bungalow was built in 1940 and was the model home for the small beach Bungalows in Old Town Seal Beach. The home has lots of old-style charm, with many modern touches. We loved the Vintage vibe and kept the house intact where we added modern feel, while keeping the 40's charm. The Bungalow has been professionally decorated with a true Tommy Bahama feel. The Bungalow is a single-story home with 2 bedrooms & 1bath. We have added skylights to the home to bring in the natural light.
*The first Bedroom has a Queen size bed, ceiling fan and 2 large double hung windows for wonderful breezes.
*The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, with extra attention to the mattresses for adult comfort. This 2nd bedroom also has a 30" TV, ceiling fan, with large window & large closet.
* The kitchen is fully appointed with every item to cook a wonderful meal. Includes, dishwasher, gas range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, ice maker, with a washer & dryer. We provide Keurig, French Press & regular coffee maker for the true coffee lovers. The dining area will seat 6 people comfortably.
* The Living room has a gas fireplace for those nights when you want to enjoy the evening by the fire. We offer 40"Flat screen TV & DVD player above the fireplace. The living room has many windows that allow wonderful breezes and light into this very relaxing room. Lots of seating for family TV night or vacation conversations about the day at the beach. This room has twin-size pull-out sofa sleeper.
**The bathroom is very modern with a sophisticated design of glass/ tile, full size tub/shower, skylight and window.
The house is appointed with detail for a true vacation stay. We offer Free - Wi-Fi, Parking Pass, Washer & Dryer. Most of all wonderful Pacific Ocean breezes. BBQ on the rooftop deck that is shared with both Cottages on the property.
*Relax on the deck while watching the sunset. Shared deck with both cottages on the property. The deck has no Ocean views available - but you are just a 3 min walk to the Ocean & Boardwalk.
We are just steps to the Boardwalk and Ocean. Main street is just a 5 min walk for Shopping / Dining or a nice Pier walk. We provide beach chairs/umbrella and sand toys for the kids. Seal Beach is uniquely situated in Orange County where we are close to the 405-22 and 605 freeways and just min from 3 major Airports. (LAX approximately 25 miles) (Long Beach 5 miles) & (Santa Ana/John Wayne 15 miles) Once you arrive at the house you will be provided a parking pass & all of the great adventures are very close - Disney Land is about 11 miles away, Queen Mary, Long Beach Aquarium, Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Dodger & Angels Stadium, Rose Bowl Swap meet, Anaheim Packing Plant, Catalina Island, Universal Studios, The famous LA Farmers Market where the Stars hang out, The Long Beach Grand Prix. We are just short miles away from other beach cities on Pacific Coast Highway. Check out Long Beach, Surfside, Sunset, Huntington, Newport, Corona Delmar, Laguna, Dana Point, San Clemente & the list goes on for some great beach coast drives.
The Pineapple Bungalow is about 30 steps to the Pacific Ocean's sandy beach & is located at the back of the property on Ocean Avenue. Once you park your car for the week, you will be able to walk anywhere throughout the town in just five minutes. This is where you will find the quaint old town of Seal Beach. Main Street has many restaurants for you to enjoy or walk on the pier. Relax at the Cottage Spa or enjoy the local nursery. In the summer enjoy music @the pier. A full-service Pavilionā€™s grocery store with a Starbucks inside, where you may choose to order your groceries online, and have your food delivered to your door.
Some familyā€™s rent both homes to share a vacation together at one property.

Loving the Pineapple Bungalow
We LOVED our stay at the Pineapple Bungalow in Seal Beach. The only negative thing was that we didn't get to stay longer. Absolutely perfect. We won't look for any other VRBO properties again when traveling over to CA. So very cozy. Charming. Spacious enough. Close to the beach. Close to fabulous shopping on Main Street. Really quite perfect. AND our hosts Elena and Kye couldn't have been more wonderful.

Relaxation Station
We recently stayed as a much needed week long vacation at the Pineapple Bungalow. Kye, the host, met us at the home and gave us a detailed tour of the setup of the house. It is truly steps to the beach. You can walk down the boardwalk to a very nice pier and you are also walking distance to Main Street that has restaurants and shopping. Sunsets at the beach were amazing! We will definitely be back next year. Highly recommend. Their hospitality was truly appreciated

Just what we needed!
My son visiting from Minneasota was needing vibes from the ocean. The place was great and had everything we needed. The host was pleasant and accomodating. We were able to check in early. The walk to the beach was easy. We highly recommend the rental of this beachhouse.

Pros: Great location to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Beautifully decorated, cozy and clean. Cons: crowded neighborhood, hosts checked up on us daily -we like to be left alone on our trips, we donā€™t drink, smoke or drink coffee or tea and have always been responsible and respectful of our hostsā€™ properties so we felt this was a bit much. We also didnā€™t like a shared laundry. We tried to go to an outdoor concert our host suggested, but there was a lot of weed and drinking, which we felt wasnā€™t for kids so we stayed back. It was hot and stuffy in the day. A portable ac unit would have been helpful so we didnā€™t have to open windows and doors to stay cool. My girls got nervous being in the front room. Also, would suggest new bed or cover for the pullout in the front room. My kids kept switching beds because the coils hurt their back, no one wanted to sleep there so I did the last night. I like it overall, but we wonā€™t be back.

What a delightful cottage with close proximity to the beach . Hosts were extremely informative about each process with regards to checking both in and out as well current activities happening within the community during our stay. We would definitely stay here again, location provides all one could wish for during a beach vacation.

A Sweet time had by all!
My family had a wonderful stay at the Pineapple Bungalow. The home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with anything we might need - from beach towels to band-aids. We enjoyed hanging out on the shared rooftop patio and walking to the beach. The owners were friendly and accommodating. We hope to come again some day! :)

Best Kick off summer Staycation
We used to live in seal beach and we came here for our kids first week of summer break for a staycation and to show them how special seal Beach is. This house made it even more special. You can't get any closer to the beach , the house is fun, eclectic, very clean and fully stocked with everything you need, especially for the beach. Its a older vintage home so if you bring kids, make sure you bring kids toys for them to play with. Our kids had alot of fun playing on the front porch. The owners are very responsive and if your aren't familiar with seal beach, are very imformative. We hope to come back next year and many more years to come.

Wonderful Stay
My daughter and I celebrated our annual birthday getaway at the Pineapple Bungalow. It was a beautiful place, clean, well-stocked, and within walking distance to the beach and the downtown area. Park your car and forget about traffic for your stay. Loved that. The hosts were exceptional. Elena checked us in and both she and Kye were available if we had questions. Will definitely be back. Wonderful location, beautiful home!
Our family had a fantastic time staying at this home over Memorial Day weekend. We love the laid back feel of Seal Beach, and having the beach and town within just a short walk was a huge plus for our teenage girls. We definitely plan on coming back. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Perfect!
We absolutely loved the cottage and experience with our host. It felt like we were staying in someoneā€™s home as special guests. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with everything we needed to make an Easter Brunch. Unfortunately, it rained half of our visit but what a perfect place to be cozy indoors, to relax and enjoy some unusual down time. We canā€™t wait for our next visit to use the beach chairs and other warm weather amenities. Best rental experience !

Exceptional property
The property was excellent. The house comfortable clean and adorable. Location was fabulous. Walked to the beach, restaurants and shops. Our only complaint is that the owners checkout process was too early (10:00) and expected us to strip the beds, and start the laundry for the next tenant.. Also, his check-in process was overly long and complicated and done in person. It all felt a bit intrusive and took up our vacation time. However, knowing all of that, I would rent it again, but I would be more prepared for the unusual requirements.

Outstanding location and property!
We thoroughly enjoyed Seal Beach, and this impeccable property to enjoy. The house was spotless and the furniture/decor very impressive, cozy. The owners went out of their way to make us feel "at home" and helped us locate ideal restaurants, etc.

Sublime beach cottage
This location and house ā€œpineapple bungalowā€ was absolutely sublime. It was so charming had all the amenities so close to the beach and the hosts were nearby and very accommodating and kind! Our family would absolutely stay there again ā€¦clean with all the amenities you can imagine in a darling bungalow.

Adorable home

Beautiful Beach Birthday Weekend
My youngest attends CSULB and she absolutely loves Seal Beach. This little town is really a nice hidden gem. This was her surprise Birthday Stay at the Beach weekend and I have to tell you I am so happy I found this adorable Pineapple Cottage which was perfect. We would simply walk into town across the Seal Beach Pier to enjoy the restaurants and cute little shops. The house is beautiful, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms just made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Kai was a very nice guy that quickly showed us the ropes before he allowed us to enjoy his home at check in. Will definitely want to come again and would have loved to stay much longer. When it came time for us to leave, found out my car batteries died on us, on a Sunday of all days. Kai was so kind to come by so quickly to assist and offer the best places close by to be able to purchase/replace if before our drive back home. Thank you for our wonderful stay! By the way Kudos to Kai for also researching some Hiking ideas close by for my daughter. She was very happy for all the wonderful info. Mahalo nui loa! :) ~Juliette~

Wonderful Property and Hosts!
The Pineapple Cottage is a perfect weekend getaway in the charming town of Seal Beach. Impeccably decorated with a relaxed South Seas kind of feel. The hosts Kye and Elena are definitely Superhosts, very nice and friendly people. Can't recommend their property highly enough! Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

Amazing stay!!
My father, me, and my uncle flew out to see some extended family in Seal Beach. Stumbled across this vrbo listing and Iā€™m so glad we did! Upon arrival the owner greeted us and showed us around the house. This was very welcoming! Throughout our stay they stayed in communication with us and are just very kind people! So kind we bought them a little well deserved pineapple gift! The house speaks for itself- STUNNING. A quick walk to the beach, 10-15 minute walk to main st and the pier, spacious rooms and rooftop, and so much more! Could have easily spent the entire vacation inside! Will definitely rent here again when we find ourselves back in sunny California! Thank you Elena and Kye for the best vacation spot in town and the best hospitality!
