"Treehouse on the Lake is a wonderful place for our family. We have made it a tradition to visit relatives in the area to celebrate birthdays and ring in the new year. Since our family lives nearby, we always look for a place to stay in the vicinity, and Treehouse on the Lake was perfect for us. "Booked for girls getaway for my daughters 18 bday ! We absolutely enjoyed our stay , it was very peaceful and had great amenities. The girls loved watching the projector tv while they were soaking all their worries away in the hot tub, enjoyed smores at the fire pit and had dinner on the deck . The vastness of the out doors with a fire pit and things for the kids to play on, climb and explore was absolutely terrific. "Cabin was absolutely gorgeous and view was amazing to the pond. My only complaint is the wifi, I did try to do some work during my stay and it was unusable. Even trying to stream movies didn't work. But it was very relaxing and if they fix the wifi i would definitely recommend. "

"We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. Lots of loose dogs in the area made it difficult to walk the dogs as well. That said, I would recommend the property, just keep an eye...

"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. There were 7 of us that stayed and we didn’t think there was enough comfortable seating in the living room. Just one small couch and 2 chairs. The game room was fun...

"We reserved this property for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday celebration. It is close enough to society, but the 10 min drive to the lake put it far enough away for light pollution to not affect the beautiful starry nights. A+!"
