"Had to take a few days to cool down before writing a review for this. This is probably our last time using Vrbo, so we’ll speak our minds. Biggest problem was the plumbing. There were sewage backups three of the five mornings we were in the home. We essentially couldn’t use toilets or showers half of the days of our stay. Our friends had to bail sewage from a shower as we waited 2+ hours for a plumber. Plumbers came three days in a row without actually fixing the problem. The host blamed us for...

"We had an excellent time at the Ranch Almaden the video you see on YouTube does not do it justice. We had about 30 people attend our 10 year wedding anniversary and all of my guests felt they were at a far away luxury destination. We used the pool and Spa and all was great, we will be reserving this location again."

"Beautiful property and great management. Stayed here as an in between to Santa Cruz and Monterey. The property is impeccable and offered all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We had a minor billing issue early on that was quickly resolved without issue. The pools were all heated, complimentary golf cart to and from the beach, and close proximity to many beautiful coastal attractions. Planning to return for a summer trip!"

"This property has a very large picturesque backyard with a heated pool, garden, and a pond. There is a BBQ grill that we were able to use. The kitchen is spacious. The amenities are great and elevated our stay! There is one small thing that could be improved: the indoor carpet has lots of stains and looks a little dirty. However, this did not bother us much. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and we had a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this place for groups."

"We rented the penthouse apartment/top deck and the 3rd floor villa for 9 adults. Fantastic views and huge kitchen to cook group means. Absolutely will rent this villa again if/when we are doing the Santa Cruz Ironman or anytime with a group. Indoor, secure parking appreciated also. 1 block from the beach and pier. The manager is readily available if/when questions come up. "

"The condo is just as pictured, a perfect ground floor unit with direct access to grass and a path to the beach. I received all the information from Jane prior to the visit and everything was very easy. The beds are quite comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are modern. Only note is the HOA approved electric BBQ did not create enough heat, and should be cleaned between guests."

"It was easy to rent and reasonably priced. Noisy at night for the couple who took the hide a bed in the living room because we guess storage for events are right underneath our unit and it kept them up for many hours late at night."

"The hot tub did not work. And was not advised. Owner did not informed us and knew a month prior. We choose the property for the hot tub. Was very disappointed. There was not enough hot water for everyone to shower. otherwise the property was beautiful. The view was beautiful as well. We had a great time."

"Arriving after a long flight from Australia, we were a bit stressed about where we were going to live over the next 2.5 months and whether it would support our lifestyle, love of nature, and desire to prepare our own healthy food. What a relief to arrive at Joseph & Shery's villa and receiving a warm welcome including a tour through the vast garden with select sitting areas under huge redwood trees, a beautiful veggie garden, and even a chicken stable.
