"We chose this place for the proximity to where we were visiting and for its history. Trust the reviews commenting on the quirkiness and the crazy stairs. The house is really old and it shows in every room from the old closed off fireplaces to the creaky floors and super steep stairs. Not sure if it’s haunted but there were a couple questionable things that happened that made us wonder. "This little property was literally the sweetest little stay. We drove through the night from Knoxville TN and the owners allowed us to check in early. Once we arrived the home was spotless and welcoming with the most precious little gifts. This home was beyond accommodating with plenty space, beds, linens, toys and games for the kids, and the big yard with a swing. We loved the quiet setting and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing your home! "

"The whole barn theme was wonderful, horses out the door and daily visits from the family dog. Loved everything about the place but the stairs going to the washroom. There was no handrail and they were very narrow. My daughter actually fell down them! I had to have someone standby to make me feel safe on them! "

"Awesome property with lots of amenities close to many local PA attractions. It was perfect for our mid size party, but more folks would have still been very comfy! The house was large and well appointed with enough beds. We really appreciated that we didn't need to bring any linens and I was especially grateful for the little comforting touches like makeup towels. "Rented this property for our family reunion which included 17 adults and 5 kids for a long weekend. It was the perfect rental for such an event. It was very clean and clearly maintained well. We had plenty of space for sleeping. The activity room was perfect for all ages. The house had extras that helped made this so perfect for our family, such as extra foldable tables, chairs and kitchen supplies. Highly recommend this space for a large family wanting some outdoor space."

"Girls weekend! Loved all the details of the home ! The kitchen was adorable and comfy table with gorgeous views . Living room had fireplace that was gorgeous. Great instructions throughout to help with fire , lock door, etc . Beds were incredibly comfortable . Bathroom had extra supplies if needed and loads of towels . Would definitely stay again !
