"We loved our trip! Our family with little kids occupied the lower level and those without kids were upstairs. It was spacious and the large yard was great for games. Super close to downtown amenities. Robert was quick to reply when we had to modify our stay a bit unexpectedly. We hope to be back!"

"A very pleasant stay. In fact, my nephew who had visited us their recently asked for the info regarding the cabin so he could rent it, unfortunately, the days he wanted weren't available. "Tucked away in the northwoods is this little slice of heaven, perfect for a getaway from the busyness of everyday life. Beautiful property, cabin was immaculate! Fishing was great. Plenty of wildlife, including bears, fawns and so many eagles. Definitely recommend. Easy booking and excellent communication. Hope to return in the fall!"

"Loved it, loved it, loved it. This charming log home was exactly as pictured in the listing. It was spotless and beautiful. We loved the bunk loft where our grandsons slept. The main bedroom was perfect with a walk-in closet and a comfortable bed. We also loved the fire pit and paved outdoor seating area with gaming table. We played many games of Euchre there. The pier and waterfront were great and worked well to dock my boat and to have coffee in the morning. We used both the charcoal and gas...

"We appreciated the quiet of no-wake lakes and the use of the 14’ boat. The bass fishermen had moderate luck - all largemouth. The 2-cabin arrangement wasn’t ideal - we would have preferred a single place with 2 bathrooms rather than being separated ok. The smaller cabin wasn’t as clean and wasn’t stocked with bath towels.."

"We hosted a family gathering on Star Lake and lucked out that this fanatic home was available. The house is still new and comfortably furnished with plenty of space for larger groups (we had 8 adults). The views are breathtaking and while the fish outsmarted all but one of us, we had a fun and relaxing stay. Rob was great with suggestions and stories based on his local’s knowledge. We will definitely be back!"

"We enjoyed our stay here and would return. Were granted early check in but had already planned our trip around the 4pm check-in time so we weren't able to take advantage of that. Very sandy and shallow but I was able to get my Ranger 619 to the dock and secure it without getting in the water. Enough room to maneuver in the driveway with the boat trailer on. Great swimming area for kids, nice firepit, everything you'd need in the house including heat which unfortunately we ended up using...
