The staff and owners were welcoming and accommodating when I needed to prolong my stay. The place is imbued with the history of a late 1800's mining town while being close to hikes out of the Steamboat Lake Visitor Center. Awesome landscapes and mountains. Highly recommend."

"The views at Karen & Eddie’s home are astounding!! Sunsets galore. Extremely clean and well kept home and 5 acre property. High end finishes and furniture abound. "This was a great overflow option as the place we normally stay (The Outpost) for our annual snowmobile trip was booked. The rustic cabins were just that and worked great for what we needed. The shower house & restrooms were very clean and nice. Great experience and we'll be back again!"

Can access all the mountains from the trail directly across the street. Honestly the place is great. ***I think in today's day and age it should be known there is no cell service and/or wifi. No TV. You are completely disconnected. This would be awesome with my wife on a trip but when your with your buddies away from your family sometime's isn't the most ideal."

"Columbine is perfect for us - away from crowds and in a beautiful setting. And the abundant nearby recreation opportunities make it even better. The cabins are rustic, but well-appointed, and the lodge is a wonderful facility for a hot shower. The Burton cabin was ideal, just big enough and with amazing views. "
