Historic Home with Modern Upgrades; Urban Getaway by Lucky Savannah

A perfect home for a traveling couple, this luxurious retreat has a unique layout with seating areas both upstairs and downstairs. The alternating exposed brick and grey wood panel walls give a rustic feel to the industrial decor.

You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The first floor has a large couch and TV, a dining table for four, and a half bath tucked away under the staircase. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, beautiful dark cabinets, and a breakfast bar for morning musings.

Upstairs is a spacious primary suite with a king sized bed and sitting area. The balcony off of the bedroom is perfect for catching a sunset, having a cup of coffee, or reading a book. The bathroom has an open shower with built-in seating and a large vanity with plenty of room to get ready for an evening on the town.

You’ll be just a quick walk from Mrs. Wilkes Dining House on Jones Street, where you’ll find some of the best Southern home cooking in the city. Take a leisurely morning stroll through Forsyth Park to people watch while having coffee at the Sentient Bean, and don’t forget to check their upcoming events for live music and theatrical performances!

Charming Carriage House in Great Location
The carriage house embodies the charm and uniqueness of Savannah. We loved having the little courtyard. The space was perfect for two people. Our only complaint was the lack of handles on the inside of the sliding bathroom doors. Other than that, we were very happy. The location is right at the edge of Forsyth Park and in the historic district. We were easily able to find parking on the street but also walked everywhere.

Good location terrible property maintenance
Property is in a nice location. That's literally the only good thing about it. Kitchen was filthy. It's clear the cleaning crews do the most basic of wipe downs. The fridge and stove had stains all over them, the coffee maker basket had never been cleaned in its life. We washed all the dishes prior to first use as some still had food stuck to them. Overall cleanliness of the property was well below even the level of the most budget of hotel chains. House had ants on both floors. We woke up the first morning and found ants even in our toothbrushes. It rained every day during our stay and it's clear the property manager doesn't do any building maintenance. The double doors on both the main level and 2nd floor leaked badly leaving pools of water under them and running down the walls to pool at the base of the stairs. There is also a roof leak that was evident based off the water coming from the light fixture in the shower. The only reason we didn't leave was the fact that we had so many excursions planned in the city that we were only in the property to sleep. It's only redeeming quality was the fact that it's located very centrally in the historic district. 1000000% do not recommend. Renters beware.

1st time visitors
It was our first time visiting Savannah and it was recommended to stay downtown, close to everything. The location of this property was decent to be able to walk around town. It’s a cute space.

Unless you don’t have kids , don’t stay here
Lucky vacation was great, the location wasn’t. Unless yout don’t have kids, don’t stay here. You have to walk everywhere. You have to pay to park multiple times a day for either street or garage parking. The keys wouldn’t work for the gate or the house and had to be re-keyed. Outlets didn’t work. You have “cable” but it’s 5 channels. The doors to the bathrooms are an awful design, no real privacy. No blinds for the glass doors. The old lady in the court yard stares into the house, constantly. I would not stay here again. Over priced and just a handful of problems!

Only one bad thing and it was the mini splits make way too much noice. Perfect place to have an intimate private wedding in the courtyard. Walking distance to so many great places. Would definitely stay there again

Loved the courtyard
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. We walked everywhere from this unit. Absolutely loved it! Especially morning coffee on the balcony which is off the bedroom. As with other reviews, the A/C units are a little loud but it actually helped to drowned out the street noise. The road is a very busy road. Another review had mentioned the windows not having curtains. Every window has indoor shutters on them. It's a nice touch. The pictures are exactly as you see the unit. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect location!
Loved this rental for our Savannah honeymoon. Walked literally everywhere except for when we went to Tybee. Quickly loaded/unloaded our bags from the alley since it seemed very unsafe to stop the car on Whitaker street. Decided to park our car in the Liberty Street parking garage for $14/day and did not have to worry about moving it at all! (It's only a five minute walk from there to the rental.) There are nearby metered locations but unless you buy a pass you have to up them every 2 hours. The rental was in a perfect location. Only drawbacks were the noisy AC units and stained fabric furniture (didn't want to use them).

Great little gem!
We (my cousin and I) really enjoyed our stay. The location was great. SUPER SECURE!! Just be mindful of the parking rules around the block as some allow no parking on certain nights. We got a parking ticket bc we didn’t see the sign 😂. Oh and bring salt and pepper if you’re cooking. This place is our go to from now on! Thanks Lucky Savannah!

Great location
Very walkable area, the river area is a lovely 30 minute walk , restaurants , museums and shopping are much closer. Parking spots on the side streets were readily available. The house itself is very cool, lovely layout and comfortable bed. You can hear street noise as the windows are only single pane but you are right downtown, great location and quiet neighbours.

Great location/a few small issues
We enjoyed our stay here, the location is fabulous for being on the edge of the historic dist. We arrived at night and had some difficulty with the lock box and then had to call to locate the proper entrance on the back side. The water has a very strong sewer smell (sulfer) I thought maybe it was the city water but we didn’t smell it in any other places we went. We bought a case of water for drinking so know you will need that. The tv upstairs didnt work upon arrival and after changing batteries and reprogramming the remote my husband got it working. Overall we did enjoy this place because the majority of our time was spent out and about, it just needs a little attention to detail in between stays.

Overall good
Great location, street parking in SAV is always hot or miss but you have options. We contacted the property managers three times, two of which could have been avoided most likely with a paper copy of information for the house like both AC units have to be on to work and the shower is a pull on control not a simply turn it and it comes on. All the light switches were labeled but I wish the shower upstairs was labeled to pull it, it looked too fragile to pull so we called. Other than that it was good.

Gorgeous spot right on Forsyth Park!
Unique and appealing private hideaway right next to Forsyth Park and within easy walking distance of a lot of Savannah Highlights. Great shower, kitchen stocked so you can cook at home and a wonderful balcony overlooking an awesome courtyard. Very romantic setting. Plenty of opportunity to stay in or to go explore the town. Will definitely stay here again!

Property location is the highlite. The place has tiny ants running about on the island and counter to the side of the stove. HVAC did not work on the second floor and the TV didn't work on the first floor. In fairness we were there onlfew days..so I don't know if these things were fixed or addressed at all.
