Built in 1861, this charming row home is located on a quiet street in the Historic District. This spacious one bedroom getaway is perfect for a couple looking to explore the rich history of Savannah, or a traveling single.

Enter your property via electronic lock, and forget the hassle of carrying keys! Stepping inside you'll be pleasantly surprised by the tall ceilings and the gorgeous oak flooring carried throughout. The living room offers a plush sofa, arm chair and flat screen television, perfect for those who have their own Netflix or Hulu accounts! Adjacent to the living room, a dedicated dining space to enjoy home-cooked meals, or catch up on work while away. Down the hall, guests will find the spacious and open kitchen that offers granite countertops, plenty of prep space and a full size washer/dryer thats tucked away. At the back of the home just outside of the bedroom, a roomy bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combination. The bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed, hotel grade linens and a television atop of the dresser.

This landmark home built for Noble Hardee in 1861 is perfectly situated to explore Savannah’s historic district. This fully renovated cottage has everything you’ll need to enjoy your getaway. The Honey Bee Cottage is in an excellent location-a short walk to Troup Square, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and historic Jones Street, voted one of the prettiest streets in the United States! A short drive or walk puts you on either Broughton Street or River Street where shopping and dining abound-it truly is the ideal location from which to explore Savannah.

This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. Really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean which is definitely a plus. If you go be sure to take extra washcloths. There were only 2, we were there a week. Had to buy some. The only major complaint I had was the bed, on one side it was almost like a “hole”. Once you sunk into it , you could barely turn over. Would stay there again…

We loved the home. It was larger than we thought, very well maintained and in a great location. We would have loved a bed with a headboard as the bed kept moving away from the wall in the night and we would lose our pillows. Overall a great stay!

Great location Cozy cottage There is a street light that shines in the bedroom window right onto bed. Looks like people have been complaining for two years but still no shade or darker curtains there Also freezer makes a noise which others have complained about Otherwise no complaints.

Overall nice place in a good location
I thought this was a very nice property. It’s in good location and we had no problem with finding free street parking. I thought the images were almost exact as what the actual property looked like except for a new couch & not a chair at the vanity area in the bedroom. I think the floors could use a more thorough cleaning as they were a little dirty. We received more than enough linens for our stay which is always nice. Like other reviews the couch is probably the most uncomfortable couch I’ve experienced, but the bed mattress was quite comfy. The location of this home is quite convenient if you are okay with walking to most places.

First and very important is the parking situation needs to be explained. We did see the street sweeper information but we couldn’t find the day or time. So we got ticketed. There was no information regarding the street parking and we got ticketed for that. All needs to be explained and disclosed more clearly!!! It was a ok place to stay but it could have had a few nicer touches.

Perfect spot for a quick getaway
Everything we wanted and needed out of a place to stay for a few days. We were in town for a wedding, but both had to work remotely some. There was plenty of space at the table to set up our computers, the wifi was great, we got things done and then were steps away from a lot of amazing Savannah locations- we walked the parks, we walked to the downtown district, we brunched, held hands, all that cheesy wonderful stuff. Our stay was great, very clean and very convenient!

Perfect location!
Absolutely loved everything about this place. It was clean, charming, spacious and everything we did was within walking distance. Everything worked in the kitchen including the washer and dryer. That was a bonus! Fell in love with the historic area of Savannah.

Had some nuances but overall good.
Great location and a wonderful tiny home with a lot of space. There were a few bumps in the road - namely that the bedroom has absolutely no window coverings at all. Not only do you have zero privacy in the bedroom there is an annoying bright streetlight that shines in. I believe other renters have listed this in the past so I'm not sure why the owner chooses not to address this. At any rate overall it's a great property in a great location with amble street parking and I'd stay again.

Sweet cottage
Very nice cottage. The couch is falling apart. Needs replacing along with the living room tv. Need a couple chairs to sit in front porch since there is no back porch. Noticed Front windows need cleaning when we sat in the porch. Overall a great stay. We will use Lucky Savannah again!!

Location was a short walk to everything. Check in/out process was very easy. The only feedback would be that the couch needs to be replaced. It is peeling terribly and it gets all over you clothes, you can't even sit on it. Other than that everything was perfect.

Cute cottage in a GREAT location
The location of the cottage was GREAT - near Forsyth Park and downtown in a quite neighborhood. The interior was spacious for the two of us, with a nice kitchen. Washer & dryer was a plus. As noted by others who stayed there, the sofa in the loving room needs to be replaced of have a slip cover over it. The fake leather is flaking off and if you sit on the sofa, you have part of it on your clothes. There also need to be a trash can in the bathroom. Check In & Check Out were both electronic and very easy. We enjoyed our stay here.

Convenient location on east side of historic district. We brought bicycles with us, and that made it super easy to get around. Parking was easy and convenient (free street parking right outside the front door). A really nice, spacious property - although it frankly could benefit from some care and attention to a few minor items: glitchy WiFi, washing machine sounds like it is about to explode (spin cycle), uncomfortable living room couch with delaminating "leather" surface, small main TV, marginally equipped kitchen, etc. (others have commented on issues as well).

Winter get away
We were notified an hour before check in that our current rental had a problem. We were offered a choice of 3 other properties and were very pleased with our options. Ever step was taken to make sure that we were accommodated. The house was beautiful and we had a wonderful stay.

Renting process very easy. Great location as we were within 1 mile to Activities on Bay Street and River. Never needed the car. Pedicab was enjoyable. Unit as advertised except no cable TV, not even basic. Fire stick did not have batteries but arrived next day after I called. Still didn’t work so should have directions on how to use Fire stick. Bedroom could use more or brighter lights. Fan control in bedroom was missing but didn’t create a problem.
