Pros: You can't beat the location - walking distance to all the things: grocery store, park, major tourist shopping, etc. The space was clean and easy to access with lots of parking. And the owners were all nice and easy to contact. The bed was also pretty comfortable.
Cons: Calling the space renovated is generous, kind of. While there are newish light fixtures and sink areas, it DOES NOT look like the pictures; maybe a few years ago but not now. The outside of the house looks like it is in noticeable disrepair. The floors are deeply slanted, the doors are not properly aligned with door frames and spaces (so some don't open all the way and/or don't lock properly, including the bathroom door), and there are huges chips of paint missing in various places. I think a previous post mentioned the back door, and that was cause for concern for us too, we were thankful they had a door jam at least. The tub also didn't drain well.
All in all, the cons weren't a huge deal because we weren't staying long; it was just a little uncomfortable when we were looking for comfort and leisure. On the other hand, the cost is low compared to other places, so you can spend more on food and experiences, so ehhh...just don't set your expectations based on the pics.
