"We loved everything about the property. It was very clean with everything provided that we could possibly need. The location was secluded but close enough to the resort, restaurants and the owners club (which we could access with the provided access cards). We loved sitting on the back porch. We loved the whirlpool which we used to wind down at the end of every night. We are looking forward to renting the property again in the future."

"Location, location, location. Bike trail by the front door and boat ramp (kayaking, fishing) in the back yard. Too fun. Super quiet as well."

"The entire group LOVED this home and this home made our celebration for our friend's retirement extra special. The proximity to downtown Galena was closer than we expected. The layout of the home gave everyone enough private space to enjoy a full weekend together. The kitchen was large enough for 7 of us to enjoy a great meal together. The views in the morning and at sundown were spectacular. The evening hot tub ended our stay with special memories. All together the home was 5 star!!!"

"The home was in a very good location. We really enjoyed the lovely view to the river and it was nice to have different seating options outside. We were able to see the riverboat turn around to get back to the dock, which was fun to see. We spent most of our time outside, watching cars and boats go by. There were so many homey touches such as hand soaps, throw pillows, blankets. it is a large enough home that my sister in law and I could have separate wings, being at opposite ends of the house....

"This was such a unique and wonderful property! I was able to bring my whole family and their spouses to Davenport to visit my oldest child and his wife and my first grandchild to spend the weekend to celebrate our Christmas! This home has EVERYTHING you would need! Plenty of space to be together or spread out. I definitely will be back during warmer months to take advantage of the wonderful outside areas! Thank you for allowing us to experience this property.❤"

"This home is tastefully finished and incredibly clean. Many surfaces were installed with the idea the home would have a great deal of traffic and are protected. There were several seating areas that provided ample opportunity to sit in small groups or have some alone time. "Beautifully decorated. Great bed and linens. Lots of space. Kitchen had all we needed and more. My only note is that if stairs are an issue for your party, stairs to get in and bathrooms are in the lower and upper levels. Beautiful and large bathrooms however."

"I hate leave a review because I would like to keep it a secret! This is our get away that we look forward to every time we stay here. Have stayed 4 times and can’t wait to stay again. Mike and Monica are so gracious. They stay away unless you have a need for them. The history of this wonderful place is as rich as the little riverfront area that surrounds it.
