"Quirky pub with lots of different little areas of seating. Nice big car park and small outdoor seating area. Lots to do in the area. Just needs more staff, every time we wanted a drink or to order food we had to go looking for staff. Cooked breakfast was on the small side for portion and quite a long wait both to order and food to arrive. Evening staff were very friendly and bar meals good value. Room was a little noisy from bar below until closing time. Bed was comfy and room well equipped."

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the hotel to celebrate our friend’s 60th birthday. Everything was perfect. Stunning location, helpful staff, immaculately clean throughout and superb breakfast. On the first night the staff went out of their way to seat us in our own private room for dinner. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a peaceful stay in the countryside near to Lincoln."

"The hotel is in a lovely position in Lincoln, very close to the castle and Cathedral. A few dining options close by too. The hotel offers free parking, unfortunately it is not clear when booking that this has to be pre booked as space is very limited.We had to park in the Westfield car park which was an added expense we were not aware of until we were checking in. Also the car park fills up very quickly and is a 7 minute walk from the hotel. "
