"Für uns das enttäuschende Hotel unserer 3 Wochen Reise in Thailand. Teurer als alles vergleichbare und in vielen Punkten deutlich hinter unseren Service Erwartungen. 1. Wir versuchten wenige Minuten nach der Buchung ein Storno, weil wir sahen, dass es 1:15 von chiang rai entfernt ist und sich lediglich in der region Chiang Rai befindet. Das Hotel hat den Storno verweigert. Ist ihr gutes Recht, daher auch nur erwähnt, damit andere den Fehler nicht machen. Geht nicht in meine Bewertung ein. 2....

"Ich war in Chiang Rai und wollte ein Hotel nähe Stadtmitte. Das Hotel wurde mir mit 400m zur Stadtmitte angezeigt. Ich buchte und verstand erst später dass mir ein Hotel in Chan Saen angedreht wurde, das kein Stadtteil von Chiang Rai ist sondern 40km entfernt liegt. Eine sofortige Stornierung habe ich nicht gefunden. Es war das letzte Mal, dass ich EXPEDIA benutzt habe. Geld in den Sand gesetzt. Reinlege"

"This is a budget hotel - so don`t expect anything more. It is good value for money and in a location about 10 - 15 minutes walk from Chiang Saen centre. There are no cafes close to the hotel so be prepared to walk or take a ride to the centre of Chiang Saen. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Very nice stay. We got one of the three bungalows directly at the Mekong. The other bungalows were up the hill. Impossible to get up when you are a bit older. 165 steps. The food was good and fresh from the garden. Unfortunately the kitchen is closing at 5 PM which is a bit early for dinner. This was for us a big downside as we stayed three nights. There is no safe in the room.Absolutly great view over the Mekong. Hotel room is a bit overpriced. It was a great stay for us."

"The views are sensational, but only 1 plug socket on one side of bed, no bedside tables or lights, the set of stairs to get to the 1st floor rooms were like climbing mount Everest. However the staff were more then helpful. The rooms were cleaned ok, the railings on the balcony were filthy. My girlfriend had to clean. Only 1 chair on balcony. But nice and quiet away from the noise of traffic in town"
