"I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. "Our group enjoyed the peaceful seclusion of this beautiful property. We spent a week at the cabin and left only once to see some of the local waterfalls. The views of Lake Fontana and background mountains were stunning, particularly during early morning and before sunset. The cabin itself is spacious, well appointed, and was very comfortable for our group. We highly recommend this property."

"Self check in and out. Clean, stocked with clean towels and linens. We were not here long enough to cook for ourselves, but that is a big factor when I book stays. This had a full kitchen, grill, fire pit, washer, dryer and ample space to eat and lounge. Plenty of off street parking for our cars. In between the Tail and town. We will be looking to stay here again. "

"This beautiful little cottage offers a peaceful stay in a somewhat secluded area. It was pretty spacious for a tiny cottage. It was clean. If you like to hike it is close to some great hiking. "Our first trip to the Smokies, and I was giving my wife a perfect trip!. We loved the Mountain cabin! It had everything needed-Beautiful and Romantic Master, and very relaxing Hot Tub after a very busy day of hiking and all the essentials needed for a great supper. I will recommend this cabin to everyone. One problem we had, is the neighbors dog barks all night till 3 am. I hope they can find a solution to that problem."

"The Lazy Elk cabin was as presented in the VRBO information. It was clean, and the view of Fontana Lake was beautiful. Our particular GPS kept misdirecting us to the road, but thankfully some kind locals actually showed us the way. We stayed at the cabin almost the entire week, keeping warm by the fireplace and fire pits, and just unwinding."

"Everything is great about this place! We loved staying in a more rural part of the Smoky Mountains where we could enjoy the beauty and the smaller-town atmosphere of Bryson City without all the traffic. The sunsets and hot tub were wonderful - as was the nearby Nantahala Outdoor Center. We did not want to leave, and hope to return soon! I recommend bringing an SUV or higher clearance vehicle as opposed to a sports car - it's easier to drive up the hill on the gravel road. "
