This updated 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse located right on the beach is one of the best values for beachfront living on 30A.Both bathrooms totally renovated in 2017.New Gulfside sliding doors August 2018. New queen sleeper couch and Love Seat in den 2017. New Interior paint 2017. Enjoy the sound of the waves as you drift off to sleep and wake up to amazing views of the beach. The townhouse faces west and features two large balconies - one off the primary living area on the second floor and one off the master bedroom on the third floor - allowing for amazing sunset views! The townhouse is part of a small complex called Walton Dunes that is conveniently located in a quiet residential area of Seagrove Beach, approximately 3 miles from Seaside and 7 miles from Rosemary Beach. Staying here you get the best of both worlds - you are extremely close to the restaurants and activities in Seagrove Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach, but you are tucked away in a quiet, uncrowded stretch of beach that allows you to completely retreat. It is also centrally located on 30A between Destin and Panama City Beach, which are both approximately 30 minutes away and easily accessible for day trips. The local Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Course is located on 30A -7 miles East. There are many other golf courses in Destin and Panama City a short distance away. Walton Dunes has a private beach access point located directly in front of this unit. Don't pass up this opportunity to stay right on the beach!! Unit #2 so real close! No Golf Carts allowed in Walton Dunes per HOA.

The unit is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen featuring granite countertops, a washer and dryer, and two full size bathrooms and one half bath. The second floor of the townhouse features a living room, kitchen, dining area, and half bath. The third floor of the townhouse features a master suite and a second bedroom with two twin beds and a secondary full bathroom. The upstairs features new carpet and the unit also features a brand new AC unit. With your reservation through Grayton Coast Rentals you receive a "Beach Gear" credit of $280 toward bikes, beach chairs/umbrellas delivered to the unit that you set up, paddle boards, cooler etc. You can choose any of the items our vendor offers up to the $280 value. This is automatic with your reservation.

Great location
Bathrooms have been updated. Needs a paint job and deep cleaning. Air vents dirty . Nice to have broom to sweep in wanted. I have stayed at other units. Beds were comfortable.

Fantastic location
Overall property was great. It was right on the beach with private access. Easy check in/out process. Most of the unit has been updated. Could still use some paint (Kilz) to cover what looks like mold a few places in the kitchen. The master bedroom mattress is in desperate red of replacement. Two TV remotes need replacement as well as the buttons don’t all work. Little things that would make it a 5-star unit.

Walton Dunes Unit 2 great location
Loved the location and the private beach access. Was very inconvenient only having one fob for the gate to the private beach access. Also my son had rented a golf cart for the week to use to get around to the hub and down to Seaside and such as there was nothing in rental agreement regarding golf carts not being allowed. The next day I received a notice that the owner of unit 1 who is head of HOA said it was against HOA RULES to have a golf cart and that it must be removed from the premises. Very disappointing for us and especially my son since there was nothing in rental agreement. We noticed after this incident the listing for this unit was updated to state no golf carts allowed. Rental agreements should reflect HOA Rules that renters must follow, not after the fact.

Lovely spring break stay
Had a lovely stay with our family of 6. Knowing the weather could be unpredictable, I wanted an ocean view so I could watch the sunset from inside if I couldn’t be on the beach. This was perfect! We loved the inclusion of a credit for beach gear rental. We rented bikes and had a great time since the water was closed for half our stay due to strong currents. Great location for our needs. The cleaning crew could be a little better—sandy kitchen counter and pantry floor, but nothing we couldn’t take care of ourselves quickly upon arrival. It’s a typical rental quality unit, but the beds were all very comfortable. We would definitely rent again.

Great getaway
We absolutely love staying here. So close to the beach, clean quarters and a great place to spend valuable time with the family. This condo is such a jewel. This is our second time staying in this unit and we will be back.

Enjoyed our stay
We loved the closeness to the beach and the fact that it is a private beach (about 100 yards down is the public beach and it was very crowded). Parking was good for 2 cars. The beach gear credit was a nice bonus and actually tipped the scale to rent this town home. The property is priced right for what you get. The bathrooms have been renovated and the bedrooms were great. We didn't like the carpet in the bedrooms (it was in good shape, but would have liked wood floors better....wood floors are on the main level). The kitchen needs to be renovated. The refrigerator froze many items which caused us to throw stuff away (produce, eggs, fruit), and when we turned the temp down, it seemed to make the freezer not keep things frozen (ice cream was very soft). Plus it had rust on the outside of the white refrigerator. It was pretty well stocked, we found the toaster and blender, but it needed a drink pitcher and pot holders (had to use towels to get things out of oven). There were also many miss-matched glasses. Also need Tupperware type containers. Lastly, the AC vents on the ceiling on the kitchen/den level need work . They looked terrible and dripped water. Plus, it looked like mold was around the one in the kitchen. Overall, you get what you pay for and I thought the price was right for this town home. The view and closeness to the beach made up for the negatives as mentioned above.
