Ocean Front Condo Shorebirds 211

Shorebird 211, is a ground-level, one-bedroom condo with quick access to the beach. Tall dunes protect our condo from high tides but also obstructs our views of the ocean. Wake up to the sounds of the ocean in the master bedroom and enjoy coffee on the patio. This location is ideal for beach walks, stargazing, and enjoying some much needed down time. The beach access is literally right outside the condo door and you can have your toes in the sand in less than 30 seconds. The bathroom and kitchen are in need of a remodel but everything is in working order. Pajaro Dunes truly is where the pavement meets the sand and where all your worries and cares dissipate away just as the ocean rolls in and out along the coastline.

Lovely property. Being on the first floor, there is not much of a view, but it also broke the wind and we were able to sleep with the windows open. Light lovely breeze and Only steps to the beach. Quiet, peaceful, and cozy. Definitely would rent this again.

Don’t go for it
My overall impression is not good. First of all, door code to access is not correct and we have waited for 1 hr to get it figured out for the text only number to message. They responded with a new code. The shower head did not work and they told they inspected the day that we checked in but nothing seems to work.

A little disappointed
Great location, steps to beach. The accommodations were significantly lacking...especially no bureau in bedroom, folding tv trays as side tables, no place to take things out of our suitcase! No coffee table in sitting area. Subpar amenities, minimal kitchen stuff. Bathroom in need of repair. Not what we've experienced in other units over the years. They did comp us 1 night after we brought the deficiency to their attention.

Quick get away
This 1bdrm pajarro dunes condo had many positives and many negatives. Positives: overall property was clean, laminate flooring was easy to sweep/clean, a broom and vacuum provided, location was steps from the beach/dunes, on the first floor, washer and dryer. Negatives: no cleaning supplies provided besides dish soap, no beach towels, everything was washed with scented/fragrance soap, no cooking spices or oils provided, bathtub/shower is 2 feet off the ground(very dangerous to get in and out of), the couch was extremely uncomfortable (the most uncomfortable piece of furntiure I've ever sat on), the bed was just o.k., app beach chairs or umbrella or toys provided. Overall we had a nice stay but we would not stay at this condo again.

Lovely visit even with a sick kiddo.
It was a great visit the kitchen was well equipped and the place was very clean we were happy to have access to our Disney plus account since our kiddo got sick on the first day and Bluey was the only thing to keep her from running to the beach and overdoing it in February. All in all it was a nice place to convalesce with the family.

Wonderful experience. Place was clean and had Everything I needed. Only concern is be prepared for big drop to the floor when exiting shower. Grab bars would be helpful. Just very few steps to the beach made for awesome sunset views.

Love the location. But….
We have been traveling here for 20+ years. Have rented many, many units. This is a bottom floor unit with no view due to the dunes being so high. The unit is clean and as listed. But it could definitely use some nicer touches all around. It’s sparse in its decorations and supplies. We would have appreciated a full set of wine glasses and not such a hodgepodge mixture. Although we did not cook much, in years past we have and this units cookware and supplies leaves a lot to be desired. Also there is nothing for the beach to use. No beach towels, chairs or umbrella. With all that said. We chose to come last minute so not a lot of options available to us. But you can never beat the location of being steps away from a spectacular beach and one of favorite places by far.

Couldn’t improve the location. Literally steps from the sand, wonderful beach and property. Disappointed with supplies for a beach stay. We’ve rented in several properties in other parts of country and always had beach chairs, plastic ware (signs no glass on beach) and other items to enjoy on the beach. Not here! The accommodations would be considered “sparse” at best. I contacted management Re dried blood on sliding door sent pictures and never heard back.

Very convenient, great bed, beach front
We loved staying, literally, 3 steps from the beach. The bed was so comfortable and the flat was nice and as described. Also, the queen size pull out bed in the living room was perfect (and comfortable) for our 12 y o daughters.

Amazing condo, great location
Partner and I spent 3 days, 2 nights at this condo. The place was clean, quiet, and within steps of the beach. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking with a fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Will definitely visit again!

Spring beach break
What a beautiful restful stay. Views were not so good (looking out at Dunes), which forced me out to the beach four to five times a day. The beach was about 30 steps from the door!! The beach was safe and not crowded. Long daily walks added to the restfulness and beauty of this place! I would highly recommend this space for a small family.

Family Getaway
My husband, two kids, and I really loved this place. It's the perfect size for a small family and it's truly just a few steps from the sand. We brought our kayaks down to paddle on Elkhorn Slough, which was fabulous. If you're looking for nothing but beach, this is it. There is not much else close by, which is how we like it. The condo feels very newly updated, so it was missing some basic amenities (dust pan, chopping block, salt and pepper, etc), but I imagine these will be stocked over time. Overall, an awesome beach getaway. Thanks!

Great location and service. Important features lacking.
The on the ground folks at Pajaro Dunes were fantastic: prompt, polite, helpful. (There were several light bulbs out/missing which they addressed immediately.) The condo itself, however had significant deficits. Bath: The tub/shower combo lacked grabbars; footing was slippery. Kitchen: Although appliances (stove, micro,dishwasher, disposal) in good shape, equipment was substandard — 2 small skillets were beat up , large skillet had broken handle. Broom but no dustpan. Bedroom: comforter was scratchy and too heavy. The alternate comforter in the closet had a giant hole in it, which showed it hadn’t been laundered. In this time of COVID I’d like assurance that ALL bedding, not only sheets, is laundered after each use. I expected more.

Very clean unit, comfortable bed and furniture. Description not totally accurate. Deck described as a place you could sip wine and grill dinner. Picture showed a totally bare deck. Checked if there was grill and outdoor furniture. Was told there was neither. Brought folding furniture only to find there were chairs. No grill. Nice dishes, silverware and pots and pans. Glassware just okay. Very few cooking utensils. Best part was easy access to the beach. Tiny view of the ocean. Old shower.
