I stayed at this hotel with my sonās team, who had a group block. We had to arrive a night early and were told we didnāt qualify for the team perks. At other hotels, similar situations were handled with flexibilityāextending discounted parking and meal vouchers. Not here. We paid the full $20/day for parking (vs. the teamās $5) and $100 for breakfast for three people, while the rest of the team ate free.
Despite being part of the group, the hotel made no effort to accommodate us. To make matters worse, I organized a team gathering and asked in advance if we could order pizza and eat outside by the pool. I was told it was okay as long as the food went to our rooms first and then back downāso we followed that instruction. But on the day of the gathering, after I had already bought the pizzas, staff told us we couldnāt eat them in the lobby or by the pool. The conflicting information was extremely frustrating, especially when trying to coordinate something for multiple families and kids.
Overall, the lack of flexibility, poor communication, and refusal to extend basic courtesies made this a disappointing stay. I wonāt be returning and wouldnāt recommend this hotel to other teams or families.
