"Love love love! Dec-2018: Stayed for 2-nts with the family (6 adults and 5 (all under 9yrs) children) and loved the location, space and freedom that Cumnock Knowes afforded us. You can't miss the property as it stands proud on the horizon as you drive south, out of Carsphairn. The woodland that has been removed from around the house would have offered some protection from the elements, but the views from every window were fantastic - hopefully replanting is in the plans for the future. "Poorly maintained, master bedroom door handle was on top of the cupboard and the shower hose leaks. Not enough electrical sockets to provide power to laptop and lights. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Bed was very squeaky. Overall adequate for its purposes and met expectations. Wifi details provided were incorrect, but its on the hub so managed. TV was only usable with youtube as its the only service available that didn't require signing in. No live digital channels available. ...
