I've stayed at this location several times with no issues. It's a budget motel so I don't have unrealistic expectations, and while the rooms are basic and outdated, the staff was always welcoming and inviting. I don't know if the management has changed, but the motel moved to self serve check in. My check in email was supposed to arrive by 12pm, it was delivered at 8:15pm. The email was missing our room code and I had to call a line several times before someone could let us in. The entire room smelled like mildew and all the linens were damp. The AC unit was so loud that we could barely sleep. They replaced the black out curtains with thin paper blinds, which did nothing to block out the bright lights from outside our room. It was like trying to sleep with a spot light on our window. I tried to go to the office in the morning, but nobody was there, even in normal business hours. I made multiple calls to the listed number and nobody picked up. It's a shame because we enjoyed going to Quality Motel for you our yearly trips to Cedar Point and I don't think we will ever go back.
