"We came on a 3 day fishing trip with my wife and 2 young boys ages 8 and 12. The motel is clean, and a comfy place to lay your head at night. The staff is very kind."
"Very courteous staff members at check-in. Asked if we had any questions after telling us about everything our stay included. Took time to point out where the amenities were and to call the desk for any purpose or any further information we may need.
Clean room, well made beds and supply of extras. Was very happy with the complimentary breakfast items to choose from.
Will definitely remember this hotel if we make the trip again."
"This is a lovely hotel, perfectly located on the beach and next to the ferry terminal. The rooms were lovely and clean and the staff really friendly. The restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel was an unexpected surprise and the food and service were amazing!
We just wished we had booked to stay longer. The photos of the hotel really don’t do it justice, it’s much nicer even in real-life."
"We just had our fifth stay at the Anchor Inn. It's clean, quiet, and ideally located within walking distance of downtown. Those under the age of eighteen are not allowed to stay in the main hotel, which is a definite plus for us.
Breakfast is included and made to order. It's something to consider with the price of eating on the island.
My wife says the rooms are beautifully appointed. I won't stay anywhere else for fear of her being disappointed.
