Kiln Cottage is located on the Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight, nestled at the foot of Mersley Down in the Arreton Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage sleeps up to 4 in one double rooms and 1 twin room. There are two bathrooms with baths upstairs and a shower room downstairs. Outside is a spacious enclosed space with seating and BBQ. Our onsite restaurant is on the doorstep and open everyday for breakfast and lunch. Guests enjoy discounts in the farm shop and restaurant as well access to the games room, tennis court, football pitch and all the beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside. Peacocks, red squirrels and chickens roam freely around the farm with highland cattle and horses in the surrounding fields.
The farm is ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle lying at the hub of miles of cycleways and footpaths for which the Island is famous. There is a private fishing lake 1/2 a mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car.
Ground floor:
Very large open-plan kitchen, dining room and living room with well equipped kitchen and tasteful mixture of modern and traditional furnishings. Bathroom/utility room with shower and toilet.
Upstairs:
Double bedroom with exposed beams and en-suite bathroom with bath tub. Twin room and separate bathroom with bath tub.
Breakfast and evening patios on either side of the cottage enable guests to take full advantage of the glorious situation.
The cottage is centrally heated and is equipped with TV, DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric cooker & hob.
