"Great value place to stay with everything you need in a unique setting. The beds are listed as double however they are definitely not, my wife had to sleep with my son for fear of being elbowed out in the middle of the night. They also require a damage deposit that requires you to pay via a 3rd party website, which hotels.com advises you not to do under any circumstance. Would stay again."

We had an issue wuth one of the bedroom doors but was resolved for us to be ble to use that same ecening. Not involved with the house but bus riute not good but close to park and ride for chester centre "

"Lovely place to stay in a rural setting. The cottage was cosy and warm, and had everything we needed. The only downside was no wifi, but we had a good phone connection so managed with our hotspot. Jo & Clive were great hosts alwsys available and helpful. It is ideally situated for walk, Buxton, Leek and other peak park towns. Would definitely book it again."

"We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "Amazing well equipped spacious chapel. I actually got lost in it when I first entered. We were 6 couples enjoying a birthday celebration and it exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful furnishings with attention to detail. Fully equipped kitchen with a spare kitchen if needed (which you don’t) Heating system worked very well, considering the size of the property too. James was very prompt with a query. A pub and walks on your doorstep everything you could possibly need. Can’t wait to revisit. "
