Atami Tropical Retreat is the closest house inside a gated community to El Zonte & El Palmercito beaches. It sits inside 1000 square meters of tropical forest, the green hillside and ocean breezes keeping it cool all day long. A sparking pool is at the heart of the villa. Other amenities include a brand new full kitchen and two decks to lounge out on.

Atami Tropical Retreat is not a beach front property, but you get secure private grounds with private pool all just 900m walk or drive from playa La Leona - Atami’s private beach. Playa Palmarcito is nearby as well, and you have free access to the saltwater pools there. Atami club with a daypass fee.

The property was renovated and updated Spring 2025. with tons of new exterior lights & fans, comfy outdoor lounge space, sparking pool w/lights and clean, well-lit stairs & pathways between different sections of the property.

Full exterior kitchen with brand new appliances and grill, spacious outdoor dining for up to 12.

All 3 bedrooms have AC units, private bathroom and new comfortable beds.

Atami Tropical Retreat is a recently renovated rancho style home at the beach in the tropics. Nature, animals & insects can and probably will be present during your stay.

The kitchen is detached from the main house where the three bedrooms pool & the open living room area are located.

There are stairs on the property. 16 steps lead from the garage to the main house area. Another 9 smaller steps to the Kitchen. The path is clean clear and illuminated, note that there are no handrails.

There is no hot water.

Events like rain, earthquakes & power outages do happen in El Salvador and are out of our control.
