Golf trip
Fantastic location on the San Roque golf course, 2 minutes walk to the club. Property is spacious and comfortable. Had a few teething problems with television but the owner was extremely responsive. Loved being there.

Perfect for a large group
The villa had everything we could have needed and more. So much space for all of us and the pool was a real bonus. Lovely rooms inside if you wanted to escape the sun and just read or listen to music. A car is advisable but there’s a couple of great restaurants and the golf club (which also serves food and drinks) all a walk away. We all said we would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for your great communication Pauline. You really looked after us!

Very relaxing stay
A fantastic location and great sized villa. Location is very peaceful and providing you have a car is a short drive from some amazing restaurants, Marina and water park etc. Pauline was on hand should any issues arise and was a fountain of knowledge about the local area. Tip: Breakfast at the golf club is reasonable in price and amazing food!

Amazing find in great location
This villa fulfilled all of our needs whilst we were attending a wedding nearby. Located on a beautiful golf course in quiet surroundings. Very close to ammenities and restaurants in Sotogrande. Pauline was really helpful and prompt with any queries I had during our stay. A car is definitely recommended as taxis were hard to book at book at times.

A Holiday in Ruins!
Our family was booked in for a 9 night stay in early July. Very disappointingly we took the decision to leave after 5 nights. Although the air con unit in the main bedroom didn't work and we had to sweep up cockroaches downstairs on arrival and the cutlery was rusty, the final straw was due to a rat that persistently ran around the outside terrace/pool area. As we couldn't comfortably walk around outside, or have the terrace doors open, we left the property with four nights remaining of our holiday and had to stay four of us to a room in a local hotel. We were informed that pest control attend the property once or twice a month. There was no visible evidence of any control methods that we could see as is common in other properties of this type. There seemed plenty of evidence however that rodents were present. We have never encountered anything of this nature over many years visiting the Sotogrande area. We’ve been informed the owner takes no responsibility for 'wild animals'. Despite it approaching three weeks since we returned and even though we have accepted an offer of compensation below the value forgone, to say nothing of the ruined holiday, we are still waiting. This review will probably see these funds vanish, just as the rat did down the storm drain in the garden. Interestingly, the villa owner quickly wrote a review of us/our stay after our departure. Please note that the visitor then only has 14 days before their review window closes.

Family summer holiday in Sotogrande
Check-in process was very easy and flexible with the property matching the description on the website, located in a nice area. We did have an issue with the A/C not working in the master bedroom, which we couldn't use given the summer heat for 7 of the 10 days of our trip which was a real shame and had to chase for updates on a few occasions. The property could do with some slight modernization in the kitchen with the hob and oven being quite old. It would also be recommended for the electric gate to be fixed as it was rather annoying having to manually open and close each time.

Great house, in the prefect location
Pauline, the host, was great! Super communication … The house is located in a wonderful area, we had an amazing time with 4 adults and 4 young teenagers. Exactly what we needed, the swimming pool was a huge success, especially in July :) … The house is a little outdated, and could use some updates, we had some issues with the ac upstairs, but I’m confident Pauline will fix it, she know about it … We will stay again next July, it was the ideal place for us. Thanks Pauline for everything, see you next year. Cheers, Dirk

Great stay in beautiful surroundings and very comfortable home!
We had a great stay at the San Roque Golf Club. The surroundings are beautiful and the beach is a stone throw away. Many beach clubs in the area if that is the vibe you are looking for. The home is beautiful with a great pool and garden to spend all of your afternoons and evenings in. There were five extremely comfortable bedrooms with bathrooms on most. Pauline was an exceptional and attentive host. She went above and beyond providing extra information for us which made our long weekend stay even easier! A huge thank you!

Weekend Stay
The villa was fantastic. Clean, immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of garden and the swimming pool was great! Lots of space. Very quiet near the golf course. Would recommend.

Disappointing
The property photographs are misleading The villa appears to be detached but it is not. The property is advertised as renovated but really is in need of some TLC. The kitchen and some of the bathrooms badly need refurbishment. Beds uncomfortable, towels, bed linen, pillows very worn. Standard of cleanliness not good. Lots of tiny flies around the house particularly in the kitchen. Pool floor has yellow staining. On the positive side there is plenty of space it is quiet and the tv package is good.

Perfect villa for families
Perfect villa for 2 families with kids from 4 to 13. Villa itself is a perfect size for 10 people. Really spacious and plenty of room for everyone. Outside space is fantastic. Pool is a great size with grass surrounding ideal for children. Outside furniture is really comfortable for lounging by the pool or sitting in the shade. Location is nice and quiet in a secure area. Near to local restaurant but within driving distance of Sotogrande and beaches. Pauline was easily contactable and responsive. Overall a brilliant holiday for all, very sad to leave and already thinking about returning!

I cannot fault the villa, the size, inside and outside, the cleanliness and the amenities etc perfect for a great week with family and friends, would defo recommend this villa. However, car needed as not near a beach, shops and restaurants.

Girls weekend
The villa was everything we wanted. Spacious, clean with a lovely swimming pool. We stayed Friday am to Monday am. We flew via Gibraltar which was a 20 min transfer to the villa - brilliant. The host Pauline let us know the local shop was closed, so offered to do a shop for us - very kind & helpful indeed. Definitely would use the villa again. Especially those in the family who golf too

Beautiful location
We loved the outdoor space. The garden was perfect for our 3 year old grandson to run around & play games. The pool was a good size but was quite deep so only able to touch the floor in a small area, not so good for those not confident in water. It also needs some repairs to broken tiles. Very useful to have pool towels provided. Villa was spacious although tired in places, kitchen & some bathrooms. Not a very good cooker for 10 people. Generally the bedrooms were nice but shame the master bedroom’s dressing area had no sockets for hairdryer. Would also have preferred a double bed in room with balcony as this was a lovely room. We were disappointed to find out just before arrival that there was no longer a supermarket within walking distance as we had chosen this villa as we didn’t want to hire a car. Pauline kindly offered to get us some shopping but we couldn’t expect her to do a full weekly shop for 8 people! So more money was spent on taxis than expected. The golf club is lovely & we enjoyed a meal there & a few drinks. Sotogrande marina is worth a visit. Overall we had a fab time, thank you Pauline.

Booked at short notice due to original booking being cancelled by host. Big villa but getting a bit tired in places eg tiles off bottom of pool repairs to bath and older kitchen appliances. Fridge is new and big though Excellent tv package available so balanced up as this is not generally available in other properties that we have rented

Wir haben zusammen als Freundes Gruppe einen tollen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus bietet alles nötige was man braucht. Selbst ein Gasgrill wurde uns zu Verfügung gestellt. Die Zimmer waren groß und fast jedes hatte ein eigenes Bad. Zum Teil ist das Haus schon etwas verwohnt. Die Kommunikation verlief total super und einfach. Pauline war stets freundlich und bemüht. Ein Staubsauger wäre noch sehr hilfreich gewesen. Wir würden die Unterkunft guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Great summer holiday. Couple problems with the cleanliness of the pool quickly resolved by host. All in all a great place to stay for families. Plenty of room for 2 families of four to interact whilst also have our own space. Great for the children aged 4 and 8 to have plenty of space to run around
