Pismo Beach, Pier, Shops and Restaurants are just two and a half blocks away from this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage. Kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, microwave, stove and refrigerator. Dining at the breakfast bar with two stools. Living room with flat screen TV, DVD player, basic cable, Wi-Fi and a futon. The Primary Bedroom has a Queen Size bed. Second Bedroom has two Twin Size beds. Street parking only. Shared laundry room & charcoal BBQ.

Great location, cramped quarters

The prior reviewer who stated something like "This is a great place to stay if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the house" was exactly right. This cottage is located in the back of a driveway. The lack of parking was a challenge. Sinks did not drain properly. The blinds on the windows did not open and close properly. The exterior was far dingier than the photos. But we were here for the beach and the July 4th activities and the location was (parking aside) VERY convenient!

Perfect!

This place is best for if you donā€™t plan on spending a lot of time in the house. Its in the perfect location and had great customer service. The property management office was a block away. Had all of the necessities. Only thing is you MUST park on the street and donā€™t move your car before the beach goers show up or you will lose your spot. I recommend walking/ uber.I had a lot of fun and I would 100% book again.

Cute Pismo Beach Home

The home was in a terrific location, close the beach and pier for walking and finding restaurants. And it was perfect size for my husband and me. We were staying in Pismo Beach for Cal Poly Graduation and it was close to the freeway so we were able to easily zip back and forth to Campus from Pismo Beach. The home is older but clean, cute and tidy.

Pismo Beach Vacation

Enjoyed six weeks in and around Pismo Beach. Saw the sea lions, dolphins, sea otters, elephant seals and surfers. Iā€™ve stayed at this property before, great place and affordable. Looking forward to coming back.

Great location

Fantastic location in downtown and a block and a half from the beach. Clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the fire alarm battery chirped all night even though we attempted to remove the batteries. Also, motion detector outside kept shining bright lights into both bedrooms through the night. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the place.

Great location, all the basics

Great location - short walk to beach, restaurant and all local amenities. House had all the basics, free laundry was a great perk as well! There was a little confusion with the key pick up, but I believe the management office was in the middle of an office move, so that was probably the reason for that. Overall was very happy with the experience and would highly recommend this rental for a fun, family getaway!

Great location - super easy walk to pretty much everything in Pismo. The unit could use a few upgrades in that the bar height chairs are extremely uncomfortable (almost unusable), the futon couch is very worn out, and for heaven's sake please install a better toilet!

There are better places in PB

Pros: -Property manager was easy to communicate with -Place was clean -conveniently located near a nice beach Cons: There were quite a bit of things broken, as other reviewers have commented on. The futon ā€œcouchā€ remains a piece of trash, the outside chairs remain broken, the blinds are broken nearly all over the house and the deadbolt on the front door doesnā€™t work. There was nowhere really to sit and relax since the ā€œcouchā€ is so awful and thereā€™s no functioning seating outside. Also this area is the more ā€œghettoā€ part of PB. We didnā€™t know that before our stay but after exploring the area, shell beach side is much nicer. And Avila beach is amazing if you can afford a few more bucks. We stayed here with our two kids and for nearly $300/night (after taxes and fees) there are better places in the area. We wonā€™t be back.

Weekend Getaway

The place is very basic. With basic things available. If you plan on cooking, bring your own stuff like salt, pepper and sugar. Only a few packets was available next to the coffee maker. Bathroom was clean. There was one yellow stained rug in the bathroom that was still wet when I got there so I just took in out to dry. We didn't wear shoes inside the place, but the floor was dirty. So check your feet before going to bed. The best part about the property is that it's a five mins walk from the beach. All the shops and restaurants are close by.

Pismo experience

The front chairs on the porch were broken. I reported the first day. I was expecting the rental company will replace them right away but they did not. The futon was in bad shape. Very uncomfortable to sleep there. Family members ended up sleeping on the floor. :(
