Cori the property manager was so helpful with setting up all our activities, everyone showed up and picked us up to take us to our tours as promised. "We stayed here for the entire month of April 2024 and enjoyed the house. During the driest and hottest month in CR, the refreshing pool and reliable AC was appreciated. The home was comfortable and modern, and the outdoor area covered. The living area is all outside like many homes in Costa Rica. "The house was great, it was big enough to accommodate 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 7 to 12. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms but not in the main house which at times could be very warm. There is two big floor fans but still can be warm. The beach is nice but if you’re looking for a nice smooth sandy beach this is not your location. We saw a lot of crabs which the kids loved. "The house was huge and the property was right on the beach! Mauricio was very helpful for anything we needed. There was also dogs and a cat on the property (outside) which we loved too. The property was well secured and the house also has an alarm system but didn’t have to worry about it at all. Overall was an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back!"

"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."

"BUYER BEWARE No hot water and beach is dirty. I contacted Vacasa before confirming reservation to verify had hot water due to previous review. I was told I would have hot water but never did. The pool water was warmer than the shower. The company was notified as soon as we knew there was no hot water. Beach is very dirty due to ships waiting to get into port and dumping garbage while waiting. We did see monkeys and birds which were beautiful. Sorry for the bad review I tried to work with you."

"The house was beautiful, it definitely exceeded our expectations. The pool, the yard (which is HUGE) all of it was great. Being able to just walk out of the yard and be on the beach was a huge bonus, especially with kids in tow."

"You could see the beach from the house, and you could be walking on the beach in 30 seconds. Do I need to say much more, oh yeah the private pool after you walked on the beach. Everything in the house was top quality and the community was very friendly and safe. Everything in the house was how it would be if you wanted to set up a perfect vacation or retirement home.
