We had bad stay during the recent trip to Caribe Hilton.
1. About Hotel stuff
Hotel stuff has really bad service and not friendly at all. They give you attitude most of the time. Not allow earlier check in, not giving suggestions by tour. They topically say they are not sure and don’t know. Few of them are really nasty rude.
2. About breakfast
This hotel has bad breakfast, cold breakfast $20/person, hot breakfast $40/person. Food are too basic and not trying to offer better dining experience. Based on the price , I would say horrible.
3. About Amenities
This hotel close the pool and beach too early.
Open the beach and pool too late.
If you want to go get sunshine on hotel beach, you will missed. We have to walk all the way to next public park because hotel still not let you in before 7 am.
4. About environment
At night pool, beach has no lights on, horrible saving energy. From the most expensive ocean balcony room you could see all dark only the next sports center gate.
5. Hotel Cleanness
Carpet is wet and smelling and old dirty.
Because this is an old hotel.
6. About transportation and parking
Caribe Hilton valet parking staff trained to fool customers.
You can take a uber like $3-4 to the castle or old town San Juan. They told you to get a cab. Charge $15-20 plus tips for 4-5 mins ride.
I’m sure cab drive share the interest with hotel.
Uber is super cheap, do not ask them to help you get a cab by hotel entrance.
Parking is $25/day. $6/hour
