30 miles east of Luis Munoz Marin Intl. Airport rests the town of Luquillo, home of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Playa Azul III condominium has swimming, basketball, tennis and handball courts plus play ground for kids. Nearby find great restaurants, snorkel, scuba, sailing, surfing, fishing and kayaking. Visit the fluorescent bay is in the near town of Fajardo, or take the Ferry to famous Vieques or Culebra. PGA Golf course, horseback riding, Mega Resorts like El Conquistador, Westin Rio Mar, casinos are also nearby. If you are into shopping, Belts Outlet, there you will find name brands at very low prices. Beautiful views in Luquillo
We stayed here for 3 weeks, so we really lived in this place and in the area. The area is fantastic. Amazing beach, great complex, adorable town, and so close to must see things like Old San Juan and El Yunque Rainforest. Definitely recommend renting a car, because while you can walk to groceries and other conveniences, it'd be a shame to miss the sites that are a drive away.The place was comfortable (other reviews are right about the futons not being so comfy, though!). There were plenty of towels, beach supplies and kitchen needs. Even a very helpful welcome binder! We were there in January, so the 12th floor breeze through the main area was perfect, and we definitely used the AC in the bedroom. Host was responsive when we needed him.The complex has a big pool, various sport courts, beach entrance with shower to rinse the sand, and all of the staff were really wonderful! The laundry is actually a laundromat just outside the complex gate. Highly recommend the drop off service if you're staying a while. Luquillo is a fantastic place to relax and a great spot to stay and explore. This unit was absolutely worth the price and the complex had everything you need to enjoy some down time in a beautiful place.

Location was great!
The location was great, and the view was amazing. However, I would recommend adding an A/C unit or a larger fan for the living room, as the heat was quite unbearable at times, even on the 12th floor.

Wow!
Went to my beautiful island with no solid plans hoping for the best and wow did the universe deliver! The area is an amazing starting point for any adventure, but in all honesty the complex has all that would be in the perfect vacation wants; they have a pool, beach access from the complex!!! Yes from the complex! Sleeping with the sounds of the waves is an experience in itself, would. Love to stay again. FYI- this cozy space was very well designed. Thank you to the wonderful hosts.

Property was overall good. The sofa beds weren’t really comfortable. Amazing view and an easy walk to the beach. Air condition is only in the bedroom but during the day the breeze feels great. Gets a little warm at night if the wind isn’t blowing. I would stay again.

Excellent place
They literally have everything you need down to the salt and pepper The location is amazing and the views were phenomenal. The living room gets hot. That’s the only negative thing I have to say. Make sure you open the blinds. The kioskos are not even a 5 min drive and it’s a party all the time so much fun Me and my family will definitely be returning

Great for small families
We stayed with our two young children. Location is great, the beach is right outside the gate. Apartment was stocked with beach gear and toys which we took full advantage of. Kids loved all the friendly cats hanging around. Highly recommend!

Beautiful condo. Excellent location to the beach, pool and food kiosks. The condo was equipped with everything needed to go to the beach and overall stay. Breathtaking views of the beach and mountains. The place was secured by a gate guard and building guard at all times. We felt very safe.

What is not to say the view is absolutely amazing. Apartment is perfect and has everything you need to enjoy a day at the ocean. We did not realize we had access to the water until day 2. What a beautiful connivence. The air that comes in amazing . Already have recommended to family and friends.

Very peaceful
My husband and I enjoyed our short stay at Jose’s condo, it was very clean and well put together. The pictures are exactly how the condo looks, the view of playa azul is beautiful! We have stayed in the same complex before but this time we were on a higher level, so the sounds of the waves and the view of the beach is much more beautiful. Jose was quick with responses when needed. Highly recommend this place, great for a couple or even a smaller family.

I really wanted to give this property 5 stars but there were a few things that were inconvenient. Positive things about this place, the view is beautiful as stated by everyone else. Lots of cute coffee shops around and the cats around the building are a bonus 😄. The property itself is in rough shape, we arrived to no power in the building and it was night, so basically it was like walking blind not knowing where I’m lol, it was interesting. Then, found out the hairdryer in the condo doesn’t work. No big deal, Went to Walgreens nearby and purchased one only to found out the bathroom does not have any outlets…. Uhmm how come not a single guest who’s stayed here has mentioned this in their reviews?? What was even worse, the only mirror in the condo is located in the bathroom so basically drying my hair and using any styling tool that needed to be plugged into an outlet was blind spot. I was literally doing my hair in the kitchen without seeing what I’m doing, this was so frustrating and inconvenient for a female with long hair. I think the owner should have outlets in the bathroom or at least place more mirrors inside the condo. Also, the AC in the bedroom is soooo loud. You just can’t sleep with it on! But the condo is nicely decorated with beach stuff and provides everything you need for it.

Relaxing views
The view was spectacular and relaxing. We had a minor incident with the internet and our host was quick to respond and resolve, which we appreciated. We felt safe because of the security in the property and in the building by front desk. Apartment was fully stocked with beach essentials which was a plus. Will definitely stay there again when in Puerto Rico.
