San Diego 2 BD Getaway- Walk to Beach and Bay!

This 2 BR/2 BA apartment has everything you need for a perfect San Diego getaway! Whether you are traveling with a family, as a couple, or just by yourself, you are certain to feel at home. We are in a bay-front complex, right next to Fanuel Park (a great place to relax), and 6 blocks to the beach! We are also a few blocks from the heart of Pacific Beach which has plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore!

This apartment was just completely remodeled and refurnished! Located on the 2nd floor of the building, this unit has 2 levels inside with one flight of stairs. The main floor includes a spacious living room with ample seating and a patio with partial bay views. The lower level contains two bedrooms, one with a king bed, and one with a queen/twin bunk bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. High-Speed wireless internet is great throughout the entire home for browsing, streaming, or working from home. All of the bedrooms have smart TVs for you to enjoy after a long day at the beach!

Great location
The location is ideal. You can walk out to the bay beach or take a short walk to the main beach. Many restaurants are within walking distance. The place is very nice but the layout is a bit strange. The living room is in the main floor and the kitchen and bedrooms are downstairs.

Clean and just as described. Decorated very cute! The owner was very communicative and checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. It was pretty warm inside when we got there, so I’m glad we asked ahead and brought our own fans.

Clean space and great location.
We've stayed at places where my kids' feet or socks are black because the floors are not cleaned well. This space was almost spotless. The upstairs living room area is a great place to lounge. I recommend adding a fan because it gets warm and humid during the day. The bedrooms are a good size. The kids loved the bunk beds! The bathrooms were really clean and stocked with shampoo and conditioner. There were also enough bath and hand towels to get our family of four through a week's stay. The kitchen is an adequate space to do some light cooking and we appreciated the option to sit at the bar stools at the countor or the 4 seater kitchen table. There was a broom that allowed us to sweep every day, but no dust pan. No biggie - we made due. A vacuum amd swifter would have been a nice to have. The location is perfect. 10 minute walk to grocery stores and restaurants. Just steps away to Fanuel Park and sandy bay views. It's a short walk to coffee shops and the ocean. The crowd was mild and moderate during most of our stay with the exception of 4th of July. The least crowded days made for a great stay. The apartment building is surprisingly quiet given the number of units and location We would definitely stay there again!

Safe/Good Location
This property was as listed. I would recommend they check up on their cleaning crews. The management was responsive to our concerns. The building is not quiet, but not management’s fault. There was a poor kiddo that coughed excessively every morning and evening. I wanted to go up and give him our daughter’s inhaler. He coughed for hours. This made it difficult to enjoy the patio. The patio is shared so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the screen doors open at night. You have your own chairs, but other units’ doors open up to same area. As listed, the unit is not air conditioned and due to the way it’s situated, there is no breeze, so no benefit to leaving the windows open.They do provide a portable AC unit in the master which helps. Our daughter stayed in the other room and was miserable even with a fan. It is a good location and we did feel safe. There are homeless that sleep on the beach and in the park next door, but they never bothered anyone. There is a musty smell so bring air freshener if you are bothered. Our daughter also has a mold allergy so she did have a flare. I will say this is the first VRBO that didn’t make us start a load of laundry and do a bunch of other housekeeping tasks before we left, so that was nice. We just put our dishes away and took the trash out. I won’t stay here again as we found some other vacation rentals that we liked better but this one is OK for a place to sleep.

Clean with great location!!
This apartment was in an AMAZING central location! Just steps from the bay. It was immaculate!!! The only down side was there was only a fan in the master and it was 80 degrees with 90% humidity while we were there. If there had been at least 2 more fans in the living room and second bedroom would have made all the difference. We would stay again and recommend to anyone!

Wedding Trip
We were in San Diego for my daughter’s destination wedding. Chloe’s condo was a perfect place to be a home base for us - only 20 minutes from the venue but also right on the bay and just a short walk to the ocean. Condo was clean, cute and secure.

Great Family Hub
Great location very centralized to let our family to have fun in San Diego. Big enough for boys and parents to have space. Playground right outside on mission bay was great for morning with kids. Location let us come back for afternoon quiet time but still easily go out for dinner at a brewery. Beach and grocery store 5 minute drive.

Great Stay on the Bay
My husband, 1 year old son, and I loved our stay here! The layout is unique with a living room upstairs and kitchen and bedrooms downstairs, but it ended up working out just fine despite our stair-loving toddler. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are so comfy. There was a portable crib and booster seat style high chair available when we stayed in Feb 2023. There's a walking path along the bay and a park right behind the unit. We'd definitely stay again!

Lovely stay in San Diego!
The property is a lovely, quaint condo located just steps away from the beach. It is in an excellent location - just a short drive to downtown San Diego and to La Jolla. The hosts were fantastic to work with - constant checking in with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay which we really appreciated. The only small inconvenience was the elevator did not go down into the parkade. Again, only a small inconvenience as the overall experience was great! Highly recommend!

Week-long stay to get settled
I stayed at this property while I moved into my new home in San Diego. The property was exactly as described! Our host was very fast to respond to any questions I had. The property is in a perfect location right on Mission Bay and walkable to Garnet, Grand, and most of the other great places PB has to offer. I would 100% recommend this listing to anybody interested in having a relaxing time in San Diego!

Great location, close to the water and basic amenities.
I stayed here for a week with my family of 4, we enjoyed the park close by, San Diego zoo and a special Christmas event near by. Location was everything, home was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay here was excellent! The location was perfect, so close to the park and bay. But also all the highlights of San Diego were a short drive away. The house was clean, neat and organized. The kitchen had all the basic tools we needed to cook at home whenever we chose to. Overall this place was comfortable and super nice to stay at for our small family of four.

Great vacation location!
This property is in a great location! Right next to the park and beach. Only downside there was a gate that we could use to get to the beach but we had no key to get back in and had to walk around the building to get back to our condo. It supplied just about everything we needed which was great! We wished there were air conditioning units in both rooms as it got pretty hot. The screens didn’t lock so we weren’t comfortable leaving the windows open at night. The master bedroom did have AC and the bed was very comfortable. Only other thing I’d like to mention is if you aren’t up for a lot of stairs it’s not for you. We were fine since my granddaughter is 9. We had an issue with the garage door opener but they took care of it quickly. Nice place for a vacation!

Sweet Spot!
The condo is very well placed directly on mission bay with direct beach access and a bay view from the patios/decks. We enjoyed the layout and the furnishings. It was also very nice to have a dedicated parking spot in a part of town where parking can be tough to find!

Great Property, Perfect Location
This property is in the perfect location for whatever you're doing in San Diego. You're minutes from the interstate to take you to local attractions, or there are dozens of restaurants and breweries within walking distance. You're 100 yards from the beach on Sail Bay, and a short walk from the Pacific Ocean. I would give 10 stars if possible.

Great location and family friendly
Checking in was super easy. Any time I had a question I was promptly answered. This property is right on the beach which is in a cove so waves are not breaking on the beach, which is ideal for little kids. There's a cute playground there too. Restaurants were a few minutes away by car, super easy to get to. This is a two story condo. Our little kids did ok with the stairs. The master bedroom has a portable ac until. The rest of the condo had fans which really helped cool it down with the windows open in June. The sliding doors stuck a little bit but was manageable. My only suggestion is to put handles on the sliding screen doors since it was hard to open with the little piece on there. The master bed was comfortable. We didn't hear any noises from neighbors and the complex was quiet. There is an elevator to the garage underground which was convenient. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and washer/ dryer. The decor was simple and nicely done. It was a great stay overall.
