Below you will find details about our NEW 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Point Loma Fireworks Observatory!

This perfect pad in Point Loma by Ocean Beach is great for families and friends. Three full bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with large living space and sleeper sofa can accommodate 8 guests total. ATTENTION: This property lies under the San Diego International Airport flight path and jets can be heard overhead often.

The open living space offers a fully equipped kitchen, bar seating for 4-5 guests, cozy lounging by the TV and WORKING fireplace with two sleeper sofas that convert into twin beds, dining table for 4-6, and view of the the night sky show! PLEASE NOTE: The firework shows at SeaWorld and around the holidays are set to a schedule. Contact us to find out when to plan to capture the display!

Room for the whole family and friends for a BBQ in the backyard with a spectacular light show! The communal backyard space offers a large grill and smaller bbq, fire pit, dining table for 4 and additional seating. There's room for games and fun amongst the lush foliage and covered space. Please note: the backyard is shared with tenants of the other property units, A-D.

The private patio from the living room offers an additional view of the night sky and a beautiful coastal breeze! Behind the patio is the first guest bedroom, adjacent from the kitchen. The guest bedroom has a full size bed, dress and large mirrored closet for storage. There are nightstands, ample natural light and a sweet private patio!

Next to the first guest bedroom is the shared bathroom. The full bathroom has a shower/tub combo and vanity with storage space.

Down the hallway to the left and right are the remaining bedrooms. To the right is the second guest bedroom. This room contains a queen size bed, mirrored closet, dresser, nightstands and private patio! There is also an in-suite full bathroom with shower/tub combo and vanity.

Across the way is the master bedroom. This room has a queen size bed, closet and dresser storage and TV with Roku.

The condo has central heat and air conditioning! Plus portable fans.

Beach accessories such as beach chairs and boogie boards can be found in the guest patio closet.

The property lot contains parking for tenants and guests of the four units. Guests of unit B have two reserved parking spaces. Additional parking can be found on the street in front of the home. From the parking lot there is a side gate to an alleyway with access to all units. Apartment B is located up the first stairwell on the right. Please note: There are about 15 steps to the unit and 5-8 from the parking lot.

This convenient location is less than 2 miles east from Ocean Beach access, less than 2 miles northeast of Sunset Cliffs, and less than 2 miles west of Liberty Station in Point Loma. This area has tons of great restaurants, wine bar, movie theater, markets, coffee shops, lush lawns and lovely bayside path great for strolling, biking and blading. The Sunset Cliffs park includes carved coastal bluffs, arches and sea caves. From the cliffs, the California gray whale can be seen from December through February on their annual migration from the Bering Sea to Baja California. The park is a popular place to view the sunset, hence the name, so try not to miss them!

You are just over a mile from Ocean Beach Pier with its numerous antique stores on Newport Ave and the delightful Wednesday afternoon (4-8pm) Farmers Market. Think of it as a fresh-air grocery store with a focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, spreads, baked goods, honey, kombucha, flowers and more! There are a handful of artisan food vendors providing to-go food, to take home and enjoy with your view!

Stretching out a bit farther, you are only a few miles from SeaWorld, from Old Town, to Cabrillo National Monument with it's amazing Visitor Center and Lighthouse museum, from Waterfront Park with all it's floating museums, and just 7 miles from the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and the world famous San Diego Zoo in lovely Balboa Park. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer along with the best weather in the nation!

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners and this one is no exception. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed and anyway, it's usually an upgrade when something is changed.)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

Holiday 2024 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

Summer 2024 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.

Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Pet Policy: This property is pet-friendly. Please note: a pet fee of $200 plus tax for the first pet, and $150 plus tax for second pet. Please send breed and pet description(s) for approval on your pet's stay.

Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking!

Age Policy: We do not typically rent to guests under the age of 25 or large parties. Please contact us prior to booking to see how we may accommodate your group.

If ever in the area - will use again
Contently located in the heart of where all the wedding festivities were planned. Also was the perfect size for my small group of the but could have easily held more. Also bonus had 2 parking spaces when parking is very difficult in that area. The property was clean and well maintained.

Hidden gem in Point Loma
Our stay at the Point Loma Fireworks apartment was outstanding. Booking was smooth, and the included parking was a major plus. The location is exceptional, with a great neighborhood, easy access to incredible dining (make a reservation at Cesarina)—and it's just five minutes away from the beach and Sunset Cliffs. This spot is a gem for exploring San Diego. The property management team provided everything we needed to be comfortable and the neighbors were really nice too! We only stayed a short time, but we can't wait to return. Thank you!

The location was ideal especially Trader Joes and shops,wine garden 1 1/2 mile away. Very clean. Backyard area so nice with grill and fire pit. Inside 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. TV every BR. Kitchen organized with all appliances we needed A clean well designed condo. Thank you

Situated thoughtfully
My mom and I had a great time at this home while passing through San Diego! The property is very comfortable and easily accessible. Parking was a breeze, with 2 spots in the lot versus having to find something on the street. Under 2 miles from Liberty Station that has a Trader Joe's, restaurants, movie theater and cute wine garden named Carruth! We ubered into downtown to explore Little Italy, very short distance to beaches and airport. We made meals easily in the kitchen, enjoyed sipping some coffee on the patio, and appreciated the thoughtful gesture of ear plugs - though we really weren't bothered with noise! Love all the storage for clothes and belongings and shelves in the bathrooms - it's the little things! We didn't get to enjoy the backyard but it looked so peaceful. Management team was wonderful. Will definitely be back, thank you!

Great family vacation
Easy and comfortable from the start: check in smooth and uncomplicated we settled in like a dream. Super view of Sea World nightly fireworks and good central SD location. Rental really well equipped (esp Kitchen!) and nicely furnished. Was clean and living room perfect for hanging out. The backyard was perfect for a BBQ- we had an amazing evening chilling with our family - the kids loved it - then we jetted upstairs and took tons of photos of the fireworks. It’s easy to relax when everything is there and you can just get on with your vacation. Even though we had no problems Nancy’s was in touch and ready to help at beginning, middle and end of rental - so peace of mind with that. The parking was labeled and planes didn’t disturb us. For a large group like ours it was really good value and enabled us to make our memories staying together- thank you Nancy’s and we will be back!

Terrible location
The listing stated "planes can be heard over head often". I wanted to know what that meant so I called and talked to Nancy's vacation properties. Who by the way I would never work with again either. The lady I talked to said she had been to the property and assured me that it was fine. That planes could hardly be heard. That could not have been farther from the truth. The planes rattled the window in our bedroom and the mirror on the wall. I found out that departures are not allowed between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am. So it was a little quieter at night. But there were still in bound planes that could be heard all night. At 6:30 am sharp the planes took off. I counted 10 in the first 15 mins one morning. One right after another! So if you want to sleep in this is not the place. It's on a very steep hill. I thought I was in S.F. There is street parking on both sides. So crowded it makes it hard to get into the driveway. Backing out is very difficult. There is off street reserved parking, BUT they have so many units in this building if all the units are full (which it appeared it was) the parking is so tight you can't get out unless someone moves. We got blocked in once and missed an event. Another time someone took our reserved spot and we had to park elsewhere. This is an old apartment building. With multiple units in a very average area. There was nothing special about the unit. There was no cost benefit. It was not worth the price on any level. We either needed a nice property or a good night's rest. We got neither. I would have been happy with one or the other honestly. I'm not very demanding. It's expected that you'd have both when you pay 500.00 a night. Probably the worst place we've ever stayed at.
