Paradise on Mission Bay

If this property is not available please check availability of the second floor condo. It is VRBO #1123911 Both properties are cleaned thoroughly and with disinfectant between guests. We furnish hand sanitizer, disinfectant soap, and disinfectant wipes.

Please note: 1 .Mission Beach is a residentail neighborhood, and many people are
now working from home. Please be respectful. 2. Gatherings of more than 10 people
are not allowed without prior approval and we ask that noise be kept to a minimum
past 10 p.m.


We invite you to come stay at our beautiful waterfront property with spectacular Bay views. Ground floor condo that is approximately 1380SF. TWO PARKING SPACES There are 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and sleeps up to 6 people. The master bedroom has a king bed and beautiful master bath, the second bedroom has two twin beds and it's own private bath. Provided are fluffy towels, soft sheets, comfy pillows, hair dryer and hand soaps There is a fireplace, spa tub in master bath, washer/dryer, wifi, 2 flat screen TVs. There is also a large sectional/sleeper sofa in the living room for relaxing and sleeping for two. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your entertaining needs. There is a large private grassy yard and a patio with built in barbq, patio table, chairs with umbrella, and chaise lounge. On the beach is our 'toy box' with lots of beach games, horse shoes, ladder golf, bean bag toss, kubb, bocce ball, smash ball, beach chairs, and more. We are also happy to set up a fire pit for you (as long as city rules allow) one night during your stay. We have a great lighted dart board on the patio and a volley ball court on the beach. If you like the waves of the ocean it is just a short walk across the street and down a court walkway.
Directly next door to our property is the beautiful Catamaran Hotel and Spa for dining and you will have use of the pool subject to any changes that may occur due to Covid-19. At this time the pool is open to our guests. At the hotel you are able to rent water sports at Action Sport Rentals.
Close by and within walking distance there are numerous restaurants with outdoor dining and many shops in the Promenade and on the boardwalk.
Many of our guests have been staying with us for several years. We look forward to meeting your family and doing all we can to provide you with a fabulous vacation.

Perfect for families
We rented both this unit and the 2nd floor unit for our multi generational stay. We put the early rising kids in this one so that parents could easily take them outside on the lawn or for walks around the bay in the early hours. We did most of our living downstairs for basically the same reasons. The units were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We cooked on the charcoal grill outside when we did cook and the backyard got just the perfect amount of shade round about cocktail hour. The location is Persians the use of the Catamaran pool next door was perfect. We also could hear the music from the hotel functions when we were outside and it added a nice ambiance. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this condo in the future.

Great family vacation stay!
We hosted our son and his family for a great summer vacation week. The location is perfect. Having the bay outside your door plus the beach just a couple of blocks away was perfect for our mixed age family group.. The location to the Catamaran Resort was an added benefit with pool and Spa privileges. Great kitchen. General review.

Perfect Place for a Family Reunion
Right on Mission Bay, with grass and then lots of sand for children to play in, plus equipment and toys supplied by hosts. So easy! And right next to the fish, ducks, and macaws at the Catamaran Resort, with an excellent restaurant and pool in warm weather. Sunsets and surf are just one short block away,,,as are many breakfast places. This was our 4th visit to the property; we've stayed in both the 1st and 2nd floor units; each has its advantages, depending on ages of young children. And the hosts go our of their way to make one feel welcome and comfortable! We look forward to returning on our next visit to family in San Diego.

Relaxing & Enjoyable!
We loved staying at this beach front property on the bay! The location was perfect! It was a close walk to great restaurants and breweries! We rented bikes and had a pleasant ride along the bay and the beach! We had access to the resort pool, spa & their arcade! Bob was wonderful and very attentive! He gave us great recommendations and answered all our questions. Can't wait to go back again!

Amazing Location and Amenities
We loved our stay at Bob and Miriam’s condo on Mission Bay. The location can’t be beat and offers excellent amenities including a clean, safe beach for the kids to play, great restaurant, pool and arcade next door and central location to all major San Diego attractions. The condo itself is very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our four young children. Bob and Miriam went out of their way to make our kids feel special (providing lots of toys/beach gear, setting up a beach fire, etc) and we can’t wait to return again in the future!

Amazing stay!
Perfect quiet location right on the beach and walking path. Two blocks to the ocean. We stayed here with our kids - 9 and 7 and loved it. Walk to everything. The place was stocked with everything we needed for the beach including chairs and boogie boards! We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect setup in a beautiful area

Nice bayside people watching
Rented this first level condo to take my elderly parents to the beach. Because my Dad has very limited mobility, I knew he would enjoy sitting on the patio looking at the water and the people walking, running and biking by... we all enjoyed sitting outside. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped (appliances were old but functional), and the parking was very convenient. We took advantage of the pool privileges next door...thank you for providing that. The only thing that was an issue for us, was that there is no AC in the unit. The windows and doors had to be kept open night & day along with floor fans to help cool down the inside...glad we stayed after Labor Day. Our thanks to the Hosts for a memorable stay.

Perfect Family Spot
We had the best time at this property! The location is unmatched with the proximity to the bay, ocean, Mission Beach, and Pacific Beach. We only drove once all week, and that was to the zoo, which is a short / easy drive away. The house is the perfect size, and the bedrooms are larger than they look in person. Having the 3 bathrooms is great too for a group. Bob (the host) was such a pleasure to visit with. We really felt at home. Thank you!!

Perfect Spot
Our favorite Mission Beach spot yet. Beautiful condo right on Mission Bay and steps to the beach. Owners provide all the beach gear you could want and more. We will be coming back!

Great location for kids
We loved our stay! Location was perfect for kids. Could walk right outside and play on the beach, lots of restaurants within walking distance, rented bikes at the hotel next door, walked down beach to park. Condo was so comfortable. Our 2yo son loved the sand toys and the yard. They had a booster seat and pack and play. Nice space to spread out and relax. Kitchen well stocked. Everything we needed including laundry which is so handy with sand and water and kids. Would definitely visit again.

Great ocean-front condo living - especially for families of young ones!
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. My husband and I stayed with our two kids (4 & 2 year old.) The condo is RIGHT off the beach so it’s super easy to take the kids out and let them play in the sand. It’s also the bay, so zero waves and just calm shallow water which was great for the kids and allowed mom & dad to relax a bit as well. The access to the pool was awesome too and the hotel nearby is great for a quick coffee run. There’s also a really good taco stand half a block away that was awesome for a quick bite. We walked to the ocean front a bunch and really enjoyed all the restaurants and shops nearby. The condo was very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of soap, trash bags, paper towels, etc which was helpful. They also have a high chair & pack and play onsite you can use. They had fun yard games and Bob & Miriam were excellent hosts - delivering ice cream treats for the kids, sharing tips on the neighborhood, and even turning on a bubble machine for our kids to play in. My only “even better if” is that the condo is older, the kitchen especially, so the sink, fridge, dishwasher left something to be desired. However they just installed a new washer/dryer which worked great and we took full advantage of with all the beachfront living. Forgot to mention - all the beds were very comfortable as well! All in all, really great spot and would highly recommend to friends!

Wonderful property and hosts
Super accurate listing, you walk onto the beach on Mission Bay. Great amenities with the hotel nearby for pool, video games and 5 minute walk to beach. Amazing beach accessories to use anytime and the area is so walkable with tons of food and groceries nearby. Bob was super friendly and visited us a couple of times to make sure we were alright. He is an adventurer, ask him about his travels and adventure sports. Great value for money.

Great Host and Great Location
The property is in a great location, convenient to everything and is stocked very well. The host are great, they had beach toys, chairs etc for us to use and set up a firepit one night for us! We enjoyed out stay and highly recommend.
