THINGS TO KNOW
-Guests must sign a separate e-sign agreement with important terms and conditions and ID and credit card verification is required to complete the booking process.
-Dog friendly: 1 dog , weighing 25 lbs or less, welcome in this home for an additional fee. Small to medium non-shedding breeds only. Must be kenneled when unsupervised. No other animals are allowed without specific Coast approval. Please contact Coast Vacation Homes to inquire.
-There is a locked partition gate in the backyard that leads into OB Bungalow II. Please be mindful of your neighbors!
-Basic Beach gear provided (beach chairs, beach towels)
-San Diego Airport flight path runs over Ocean Beach. Airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am. The home is totally worth it!
-There is 1 security camera in the front of the home facing the alley.
-This beach cottage does not come with assigned parking. For parking please park on the public streets.
-Like many homes in the neighborhood, entrance is through the alley.

ATTENTION
This home is located in a high-density neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. There is a no tolerance policy for excessive noise, occupancy, illegal substances, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please ensure you are comfortable with these terms before booking.

PARKING
There is street parking located on any of the city streets, just a short walk to the entrance of this home. Please be sure to follow all City posted signage if parking on the street.

Clean 1 bedroom 1 bath house! Great large kitchen very well equipped & living room! Not 4 blocks from beach! 1/2 mile walk 15 minutes! No AC & it was hot inside house but had fans! Entrance to house is behind larger rental home! Entrance on alley to house was a little worrying! OB is in flight path so jet noise is unavoidable!

We love OB and found this property to be perfectly situated for walks to the beach, Sunset Cliffs, Restaurants and other attractions. The Mango is well provisioned for two; cozy, comfortable and fun. We’ll be back.

Great little property, close to stores and restaurants.
Good experience. Clean, bright home had everything we needed. Wish check in could be earlier. Entrance is on an alley but well. lit and love that numbers for home light up. It is loud with planes overhead and traffic but didn't interrupt our sleep! Highly recommend!

Great Beach Cottage in Great Location
The Mango was perfect for our trip back to Ocean Beach. It's bright and cheery, and comes with everything you need - iron, ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a full kitchen. We really loved having a full kitchen with everything you need to cook for the times we weren't enjoying fish tacos at nearby Blue Water Seafood (the best!!!) and coffee/cuban pastries at nearby Azucar. You can walk everywhere in OB from The Mango, which is awesome! 2 things to note if you're unfamiliar with OB: It's in the San Diego Airport flight path, so you will hear planes throughout the day and into the night. Also, most places -- including The Mango -- in OB don't have air conditioning, but there are several fans and keeping the windows open helps with the humidity and heat.

A small sauna that is NOT as advertised !!
The unit is a small cutely decorated space that is nearby Sea World and Dog Beach. When we first saw this unit on the search page it was advertising with its listing pictures the unit in the front, not the actual unit which is behind it tucked in between two homes. I assume due to a few complaints they have now updated the listing images to include the location of the unit. When we entered the unit, it was very apparent that the unit does not cool down at all and retains heat quite well. We gave it a chance and had all the windows and doors opened for about 4-hours (we arrived at the unit around 6 pm), hoping the evening air and lack of sun would cool down the unit, it did not. Ironically, they have a Heater installed which has a thermostat to constantly remind you that 80 degrees is the temperature inside. It got to the point where it was hotter inside the unit than outside, which was much cooler 70 degrees. If the unit was in the front one, then maybe we could have had the windows opened the whole day and night but there is no chance since being in a secluded alley way. I'm assume that heat is a known issue because they provided two small 6" dia. desktop fans, but there was no way those fans would circulate enough air within the unit to cool it down at least 8 degrees from the stagnant 80 degrees we experienced. Long story short after spending time on the phone with Vacasa (not even Vrbo), which resulted in us sweating for 3-hours and ultimately vacating the unit and finding housing elsewhere. I understand what Vacasa was trying to do in capitalizing in cramming two units on one plot in attempts to get two units rented instead of having one well-made and ventilated unit instead. On a side note, when we arrived parking on the main street we noticed the unit in front of us, the people renting it were having a similar experience as us. They had all the doors and windows opened and did not seem pleased either. By the time we were leaving, it looked like they left their unit in the front because it looked empty and sealed up shut as they probably found it.
