Capistrano Haven is fully loaded with luxury amenities and beach chic decor. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is perfect for families and friends looking for a quiet trip to the beach. Travel up a flight of stairs to enter the home. The home is on the top (second) level of this duplex building. Take in views of the bay from the private Master patio or peek-a-boo views from the front patio. The bay is about 50 yards away and the ocean is within a three-minute walk.


This property is managed by Vacasa Seasonal Inc.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location, nice and clean, comfortable Small easy fixes needed but overall the place was great and enjoyable. Kitchen well equipped (but may need salt/pepper. Had blender and electric tea kettle and coffee maker were great adds. We really had more good things to say than bad. Parking was tight for a full size truck but do-able! Easy walk to beach, coffee and taco stand nearby. Great time had-thank you! Fix it notes: ceiling fan light in first bedroom not working well creating strobe effect. Fan in 2nd bedroom very noisy. Freezer had small issue closing-creating some frost and bathroom toilet paper holder broken. Master patio door hinges need to be screwed down more so door opens easier.

We enjoyed our stay!
We traveled to San Diego with our family of five and overall had a wonderful stay. The condo is really cute and super close to the beach and was a short driving distance to all of the attractions we wanted to visit. The door to the patio off of the master bedroom was stuck, we reached out to the rental company who said they would come check it out but never did. The master bathroom water pressure leaves something to be desired and note for future guests I wish we’d figured out sooner, the second bathroom temperature is in reverse. Turn to cold for hot! And the toilet paper holder was missing, not an issue, I just don’t want to be held responsible for it. The kitchen was really nice and while we didn’t cook seemed well equipped. The neighborhood is walkable and quiet, and again, that access to the beach, so great!

The property is cute . In need of work on the walls. Couldn't access back deck of MB padlocked from the outside and hot water very slow in MB if at all but does have a 2cd shower .

Special Weekend in San Diego
The property was 5 stars all around. Location to beach and bay was perfect. Added parking behind the unit was great. We definitely felt a beach vibe with the decor. There were two things we couldn’t figure out: how to open the door to the master balcony and get hot water in the first shower. Perhaps it was us but we missed out on those two items. Thank you for making the experience great.

Apartment is top floor, good location
The apartment is a second floor. There is a porch off the master, but the door did not open, so it was inaccessible. The space was clean. Rug in living space needs replacing. Kitchen is well stocked. Parking spot is challenging to get into. Location is excellent, accessible to all areas of San Diego.

Great location but house not clean
The location for this house is perfect. Two minute walk to the beach and bay. Unfortunately, it was not clean in areas. When we arrived there was a strong musty smell in the house. We opened all windows to air it out and left for a few hours. The next morning when I went to make coffee the grounds were left in the coffee pot and were all moldy. Probably why the house smelt. The view on the listing show the nice view out the patio window of the deck and palm trees. This view was not so nice since the windows had a thin layer of dirt on them. After showering there was water on the floor so I wiped it up. The white towel was now dirty. Clearly the floors were not washed. I took pictures of the areas and sent them to the local team. They offered to come have the house cleaned. It was Christmas Eve day. I did not want them cleaning around us, it was family time. It was simpler for me to do it. We pay a cleaning fee so I asked for some to be returned since it wasn't as clean as it should be. The local team said no. I have rented from Vacasa before and everything was perfect. I wish I had the same feeling for this location. I have never given a bad review, it is not my way. However this time the situation warranted it!

Happy customer!
Our stay was excellent. Clean and comfortable. Great attentiveness to are comfort. On upon arrival,we realized we were going to need more towels and blankets. We called and they got them over right away. Text were sent to me during the stay to make sure we were comfortable and asking if we needed anything else. I will definitely use your service again.

Great house and amazing location
The property was great and location was awesome. Short walk to beach. The only downside is parking can be tough. There is parking for the house but spots are small. We were in a minivan and it was difficult to fit but if your in a small vehicle or no vehicle you will have no issues

Great experience
Very clean, rooms exactly as pictured. Great location walking distance to mission bay and mission Beach. Lots of activities for the kids within walking distance. Carport are pretty tight if you're driving a bigger car but still fit our rental minivan. Property manager was very responsive over the phone. Messages sent online weren't addressed. Recommend calling if you have any questions or requests. Overall, nicely updated 3 bedroom unit. Was perfect for my kids!

Would Stay Again
My family of 5 stayed for 3 nights. It was clean and in a great location. It was right before Christmas and the weather was not the best so it was pretty quiet. There is a small market around the corner and a place to get coffee. The parking space is very tight. We were driving an Arcadia and found it easier to back into the spot. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

This property is just perfect for a beach getaway! We had a girls vacation...two moms and four teenage girls. All the girls play beach volleyball at school so we purposely chose a location very near the Mission Beach beach courts. It was the perfect stay! Soooooo close to beach and lots of great food steps away. The market owner was amazing...such a great neighborhood!

Great Beach Vacation
Perfect vacation home! Exactly as advertised and more; the home even comes with a full set of beach items, i.e. Chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. The location was perfect right between the Bay and Ocean, less than a 1 minute walk to both. Top level has views of the bay. Neighborhood is much quieter than the other side Mission Beach area. Would definitely rent this home again.

This property is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!
When I say that this is an amazing property and area, IT IS!! My two best friends and I decided to go to San Diego for my 56th birthday! In looking at properties, we collectively decided on this one! And we are glad that we did!!! It is SO CLEAN, spacious, very well stocked with every amenity needed! and the decor is beautiful!!! It felt like we were at home! The neighborhood was clean, the neighbors were quiet. and friendly! The beach is just 2 minutes away via walking. I would definitely recommend this property! 5 stars HANDS DOWN! When we return to San Diego, WE ARE STAYING HERE AGAIN!! Period!!!

Family Weekend
We rented both units for a family weekend. This upstairs unit was surprisingly spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The location is great for access to the bay and the ocean. And management was very responsive to questions in the days leading up to our trip.

Great condo, great location!
We loved our stay in the condo! It was located near the beach and the bay as well as a small market and take out food. It had plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, dishes,l and bath towels. I do suggest you bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, as this is the only area where they did not provide sufficient amounts. For the cost there should be more than enough toilet paper! Having two parking spots was great, just be aware that they are very tight for larger vehicles. The air-conditioning in each room was key, as it was a warm weekend! We would definitely stay here again and even consider renting the downstairs unit at the same time.

Everything was as advertised. Close to the beach and the bay. Very clean and bright. Perfect for our family of 5. Appliances were great, and washer/dryer were key! Beds were comfy. We had boogie boards and beach chairs available for our use. Really - one of our best VRBO rentals yet.

Perfect location and great living space
We stayed for a week (5 adults, 1 toddler) and really enjoyed the apartment. We loved the easy access to the beach, both bay and ocean. The weather was on the cool side but sunny and it was wonderful to bask on the back balcony in the morning or front porch in the afternoon. The kitchen space is really nice and works well for a group. The parking is tight but we had a Dodge Grand Caravan and it was fine. A small but well stocked market is a 5 minute walk as are a few casual restaurant choices. The neighborhood is very quiet..... the only exception being fairly steady jet traffic overhead (starting at 6:30am). We found this was not a problem as we quickly got used to the sound.

Great location. Perfect for a family beach trip. Loved San Diego and all it had to offer.
Clean. Great location. A little loud because of airplanes overhead and air conditioning was noisy and temperamental. Overall impressions were a 9/10
