When we arrived - an hour and a half *after* check-in - the cleaning lady was midway through her job. She made a call and I talked to Brenda, the owner's assistant, who promised me a rate discount as a result of her mistake. Brenda admitted she got the property mixed up with another one. We left in order to give the cleaning lady time to finish. That night, San Antonio had a terrible storm. I awoke to the rain dripping on our bed! My husband moved the bed in the middle of the night, and the next day I contacted Brenda because the instruction manual said to contact the owner right away if there were "major" problems. She texted back that "it rained a lot" the night before, but never really said more than that. I don't know if the ceiling was fixed or not. Also, while we were there, one of the towel bars fell off the wall and the TV didn't work according to the instruction manual. The internet service is so bad that we couldn't even sign in to our own streaming accounts. There was a washer and dryer, but the washer was full of water and "out of order." The apartment complex itself is not nearly as nice as it looks in the photos. When we returned home, I messaged the owner about the rate discount Brenda promised and he said "he'd look in to it." I never heard back from him. My family is not high-maintenance by any means, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The whole experience was very disappointing to me. I thought they'd make it right. Bummer.
